I don't support what they've done over the last 2 years, no. I've never once said I would not support a team going forward. But I would not support any success they've had based off of it (fortunately, Atlanta has been dismal during the years they did this).

I do find it curious that the league has apparently been investigating this for some time and informed the Falcons during the season, but the report doesn't come out until the middle of the Patriots scandal the day of the Patriots championship game.

Just think it's funny that you lashed out so hard against New England, but now when the "cheating spotlight" is on your team, it's kind of like: "Meh, they sucked anyway, so I won't like last year's team. But next year's team will not be cheaters, so I'll like them".



I'm not faulting you here, just touching on what I said when this whole deflategate nonsense broke, that ALL teams bend the rules. Every last one of them! It's just whether or not they get caught. That's all.
Pats got caught, because they are so good, they are always in the mix, and their detractors outnumber any other team's detractors because they are so good. That's all.

Back to our regularly scheduled witchhunt already in progress.

It's not a cop out. If they had won the Super Bowl last year, I would be pissed off and not support it. The same way I don't support it now.

But there is a difference between the Patriots and Falcons. The Falcons broke the rules and were terrible. The Pats have broken the rules and been successful at it. They have literally built a legacy off of cheating. They're the NFL's Lance Armstrong.

But it is clear that the Falcons front office is pulling some of the same stunts they learned from their time in the Patriots mix.
