I must admit, this really cemented Brady's legacy as the best ever for me. And it wouldn't surprise me at all if he gets another ring before he's done in this league.

It would be nice if they came up with a new idea next year. They had the Clydesdale commercial last year and this puppy one was just a different variation of it imo.

It's so well done though. Brought a huge smile to my face.

Yep. Another career wasted. Probably over for this guy barring some miracle turnaround in his life.

Playing with underinflated footballs is a rule violation. It happened.

The question is how and/or who, and that's a question that will probably never be resolved.

But this belief that the NFL owes the Patriots an apology or that nothing happened is just bizarro-land fantasy from Pats fans.

I wonder if it's for drugs or alcohol? Or both?

Tough spot for the Browns. No Gordon for next year who already has his demons with substance abuse and now Johnny Football is seeking treatment.

I'll bet Jason Garret would say he would have called the same play, and Tony Romo would have thrown the same pick. But when the Cowboys **** up, the entire world piles on. Well, that just goes with the territory...
Yes it is so true that you will never get over. I am still pissed over the 2 Super Bowl losses to the lucky Giants but this Championship makes it a hell of a lot easier though.

Seattle PD knocks Broncos fans after loss last night. Is everyone in Seattle a douchebag?

Question: was it a bad call by Carroll or a bad throw by Wilson (i.e. he should have thrown it away when he saw the coverage was tight)??

Probably not. I don't know everyone in Seattle. But if the Seahawks are their role models, then maybe

The throw wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible. The DB just made a good play. The call was terrible. No other way around it

It's all matter of opinion. There is no correct answer to your question.
The closest answer one can provide, is what I posted earlier. It was your typical Hero/Zero play. Hero if he scores, Zero if he doesn't. Happens all the time in Pro sports.
If they had made the pass, which was right on the mark, I don't think people would be posting: "Wow, Seattle was really lucky as that pass should've been picked off..."
It was a good call, just countered by an even better defensive play. That's all.

If they handed the ball off to Lynch and he was stuffed 4 times in row, they still would've lost the game. Even if they had enough time to hand the ball 4 times, I can't recall. So it is what it is. Then people would be screaming that Carroll should've dialed up a pass play. There is no "correct call".

I'm all for different opinions, but I don't understand how you can say that last play was a good idea. It's such a low percentage play compared to Lynch or Wilson running it in.

Russell Wilson is a game manager and a flashy player. Basically a small Kaepernick.
Their receivers are WR3's on any other team.
They have the best back in the NFL (with AP out), yet they don't give him 3 chances to punch it in?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they still had 2 timeouts, right?
2nd Down: run with Lynch. If he doesn't get a yard, TO
3rd Down: run with Lynch. If he doesn't get a yard, TO
4th Down: Last play. If they stuffed him twice (which is highly unlikely), then you can try a pass.

It was a nice pass by Wilson at the end except Butler made a game changing interception at the end. It's a make or break play.

I would have run it 3x in a row. If Lynch can't get you 3 feet on 3 tries then you've done all you can do. The only thing I wouldn't have done is passed it. Not from the 1.

Glad we got a great game that we can debate forever.
