So there is no incriminating tape, doesn't change the fact that Dez allegedly did it.
Once a screw up, always a screw up! A leopard never changes it's spots, he'll mess up again. It's practically guaranteed.
The guy is the ultimate team player when his team is winning, then leaves the field early or throws a tantrum when they lose.
Now they couldn't agree on a deal, and he might get the tag slap...oh boy, fireworks in 3...2...1...

The addition of a tape would be a big deal, no matter how long ago it happened.

It's one thing to dismiss an incident based on the player and the woman's testimony. It's another thing to ignore it if it turns out that video evidence shows up radically different than the testimony.

If the PD had the video, and it's as bad as they are saying, he would have been charged with something 4 years ago. But that didn't happen. The way I understand it, one of his old friends has the video and is looking for a payday. If that's the case, this isn't going away

Totally disagree with this. Yes, if true, he did a terrible thing. But we all make mistakes. Some choose to learn from their mistakes, others don't. I hope I'm not judged on the choices I made when I was 20

Hey, I hope for his sake he turns it around and becomes a model citizen and a respected leader on his team.
If none of that happens, and he goes the other direction...well it won't surprise me one bit.

Like what? There's pretty much a consensus as to the #1 pick. That could change after his pro day, but I doubt it. It's hard to make a poll about next season, because there's too many things yet to be decided.
Maybe: where does Josh McCown go, the Bills or Browns? I don't think people really care, though. And whoever doesn't get him isn't losing much.
Maybe: where does [insert Free Agent here] play next year, but until the league year starts March 10 and Franchise Tags are placed, I don't think that will be much fun.

If you've been paying attention he's already doing this but bring up incidents from 4 years doesn't help his perception especially with a person like you who's labeled him as 'once a screwup always a screwup.'

What about when he stormed off the field after losing the playoff game? That's being a team leader? LOL!
The guy, ever since he's joined the league, has been one thing: a loud mouthed prima donna. I'll gladly eat crow when...IF....he ever changes, but I suspect I won't have to.
That's just on-the-field antics...off-the-field stuff is a whole different ballgame. Let's hope for his sake, it just goes away.

I actually like his attitude... He's a passionate player and wants to win. NFL needs players like that.

I'd kill for him to be a Titan. We have ZERO players that care that much about winning.

I can forgive him for his goofs on the field like the taking off the helmet cause he's a good player.

If the Texans weren't our rivals, I'd love Watt. He's a douche on the field... but every team needs those type of players. Passionate and aggressive.

You're also comparing Dez to QBs... Cam certainly was heavily criticized for the way he handled losses, but he's maturing.

Also, considering the circumstances Dez grew up in, he's not doing so bad. I'll hold off judgment on what he did until more details come out.

IMO Jerry Jones was probably the one leaking all this negative news, so he could drive Dez's price down. The Cowboys were obviously aware of this issue, since it happened over 3 years ago.

The Cowboys aren't letting loose of him regardless of what he did unless actual video evidence comes out like it did with Rice. But even then, it was an easy decision for the Ravens. Rice sucked in 2013 and is probably washed up. Dez is in his prime and an elite WR. Without Dez, there would be a significant decline in overall performance by the Cowboys.

I didn't want Terrell Owens to sign with the Eagles for the very simple reason he had issues. Sure enough he blew up the team a year later.
It has nothing to do with me hating Dez. If I hate anything I hate the league-wide mentality of "selling your soul to the devil", for a chance to get better overnight. I hate when someone, of talent mind you, pisses off a team so much that they jettison them, then saying pops up: Well someone will take a chance on him. BS!!
Stand your ground and tell the player to play in another league! Obviously this will never happen because of the affore mentioned league-wide mentality.
Bottom you can be emotional and still be a good team player, whether you win or lose. Dez has proven that he's a horrible sore loser. Of course nobody likes to lose! Give me a break! That doesn't mean you leave the field early, or not shake hands.
Sorry I just see way too many red flags with ole Desmond, and thank God my team doesn't have to deal with that nonsense. Case in point: MeSean Jackson! And Jackson is a pretty heavily involved in the community, never hear about off the field issues with him...he just could never get the fact that it's a team sport, not a "me" sport. Play for the name on the front of the jersey, not the name on the back!

I was hoping we could land him, but the Browns were more aggressive than us in the final stretch. Damn. I guess Sanchez would be the next best available. Locker intrigues me, but he is made of glass.
