Bills and McCoy are really close to a restructured contract. He'll get more guaranteed money and we'll have lower cap hits.

Wide receiver Randall Cobb, expected to be one of the top free agents on the market Tuesday, agreed Saturday to stay with the Green Bay Packers on a four-year deal that will pay him $40 million, according to reports.

Smart move staying in Green Bay. He could have made more money elsewhere, but he has a really good thing going with the Packers.

Suh gets 60 million guaranteed in Miami. Was hoping to see him in Oakland but we can spread the cash around now i guess.

MIA dropped almost every big FA signing from 2013 when they spent like crazy. Wonder what we will see 2 years down the road from this FA

Thank God, Philly didn't go after him! I didn't think they would want him, as our D-line is pretty set, but with Chip you never just know!

We did some great work on the new McCoy contract. He won't see the final two years of the deal without restructuring. His cap number has been cut in half for this season and no annual cap number is within $2 million of what Philly was on the hook for this coming season.

I'm not looking forward to playing Suh twice a year, but it's going to be hard for Miami to keep Clay now. A team can easily give him a multiyear offer and configure the cap hits where Miami can't afford it. I'd love to see us go after Clay, he's a great fit for Roman's offense.

I hope he's worth it, we have some major work to do cap-wise. I guess he's going to have a low 2015 cap number, then go up like crazy in the subsequent years. We better start hitting homeruns in the draft, or else we're going to be screwed. We kinda did last year though with our first 2 picks, the good play by Landry allowed us to release Hartline and Gibson.

I guess Ross wanted a big name after all the money he invested in the Stadium renovations.

This was pretty much a forgone conclusion. It was just going to be a question of how much. He fits right in with the defense Philly runs!

Needless to say, I like the move a lot. It's the biggest area of concern, and we could still land a good DB in the draft and give him some time to develop.

As a Lions fan im not that sad to see him go, every year it was about him and not the team. Long as they resign Fairly im fine with losing Suh.
