Not bad after having one of the worst OLs in the league from 2010-2013.
Hopefully you guys can hold onto these guys for years to come. With an elite OL, your team will always be competitive.

I'm all in favor of building an OL through the draft. We've gone OL in the 1st back to back years. Hated the Warmack pick and still do. I initially hated the Lewan pick, but it seems alright now. I wanted Bridgewater with that pick though.

If we somehow spent the #2 pick on another OL, I'd be in full on apocalyptic fan mode.

If we are able to say end up with the Browns #12 and #19 picks, I'd be absolutely fine taking another OL with one of them. Otherwise, we can't do that crap.

Leonard Williams or drop out of the top 10 and stockpile picks are probably your best two options.

I wonder what injury excuse Crabtree will use this year to get out of training camp... Its a long shot but Hope he leaves that diva drama behind him... hopefully there's heavy incentives on the deal so he actually tries hard

Trading back is still my #1 choice, but only if it gets us A LOT.

Mariota has actually grown on me a bit, but that's just me kind of saying F it.

No matter what we do, I can't help but feel we will fail. If we take Williams he'll somehow bust and Mariota will be a beast. If we take Mariota he'll bust and Williams will be a beast.

We just seem to be a team that can't win. Need new ownership/management.

Eddie summed it up best when he said we are a dysfunctional team in complete disarray.

People say I'm pessimistic... that's just my way of not getting my hopes crushed. Been there, done that. Just being a realist.

Mariota is not that good, Leonard Williams is not the most amazing DL ever but he's a far more...safe pick than Mariota is.

Williams is definitely the safest route, but I no longer think Mariota is going to bust as hard as I initially said. That Oregon system definitely scares me because it virtually never translates to the NFL, but Mariota is certainly much different than their former QBs.

I hear a lot of Manziel comparisons. That's just so far from true. Mariota is bigger, stronger, faster, more accurate, and isn't a complete turd. The Wilson comparisons make much more sense IMO.

I think Whiz's system would be horrible for Mariota though, and Whiz is too stubborn to change anything up for him. Offenses that can incorporate read option and many PA bootlegs would be best for Mariota. Whiz would probably be a d*ck and tell him to stay in the pocket all the time.

All this Mariota to the Titans talk is based on the assumption that Winston goes first, and there is growing talk that Mariota could go #1. Supposedly Darcie Glazer-Kassewitz, one of the late Malcolm Glazer's daughters and a Bucs co-owner and co-president of the family foundation, is concerned about the idea of the team drafting Winston due to his background. She alone probably doesn't have the influence to nix a draft pick but she could try and influence her brothers to draft Mariota. Ron Jaworski has said that what he's hearing from his sources is that the Bucs are planning to take Mariota, and Joe Russell, who worked in the Bucs front office in 2011, has said the Bucs would like to trade down but if they can't get a suitable offer they'll take Mariota.

The question is how plugged in people like Jaworski are with the Bucs. Most of the local beat writers continue to believe that Winston is the pick. Last year a lot of the national writers believed the Bucs were going to draft Manziel, but the local writers continued to say that the Bucs would not take Manziel and proved to be correct.

If the Buccaneers take Mariota, I would trade down out of the top 10 if I were the Titans and use the 2-4 picks they get out of it to retool the offensive line and maybe also still get someone like Petty.

There is so much smoke screening going on this close to the draft, it's impossible to know what most teams are thinking.

Yea... Believe nothing you hear. Sure, some of it will end up true. Most of it will end up false.

As for Mariota going #1, that's fine with me because I prefer Winston anyways. Also that could improve the trade value of our pick. But it would take the Eagles out of the running... and probably the Browns. So idk.

Random rumor mentioned on the radio today -- the Chargers are working out Mariota, and the speculation is Rivers to the Titans. Makes no sense that the Titans would want a 34-year-old QB though. Probably just rumors to get another team to flinch on trading for the No. 2 pick.

Oher was the worst RT in the league last year.

I'd rather we just take the best OT available at #33 than sign Bell. Barksdale, who we've had for a visit, would also likely be a better option.

Right now, Byron Stingily is our starting RT. That's bad. Very bad.
He did play RT for us for three years. He wasn't the greatest at RT but he was serviceable. Wasn't the same dead weight he was at LT.

What I'm wondering is has Rivers said he'd sign a long-term deal with Tennessee (or another team)? His reason for not wanting to leave San Diego is because his family is entrenched there and he doesn't want to uproot his family. The Titans would not make a deal to trade for Rivers unless he was willing to sign an extension beforehand, and I haven't seen anything that indicates he would sign an extension with the Titans. I know Nashville is fairly close to where he's from but I've never heard anything from him indicating he wants to live there.

It's just such a ridiculous rumor IMO. The "experts" really don't seem to think things through. Here's what goes through their brains: "Rivers doesn't want to sign an extension with the Chargers in fear of the team moving to LA, so a trade to Tennessee makes sense."

What in the hell are these people thinking? No one has even talked about the location. He has 7 kids. If he doesn't want to move from SD to LA, why would he want to move all the way across the country? And before someone says, "Well, Rivers has no say in a trade"... lol yea, so give up a #2 pick just to piss a guy off basically.

That said, this trade won't happen... I sure as hell hope not.

Only way I'd be happy with it is if we at the very least get their #17 pick (preferably more) and ensure that he will sign a long-term extension with us.

Risking the #2 pick on Winston/Mariota would make more sense than this trade IMO.

This rumor has been floating around here for over a month now. I just can't wait for the draft to get here, so all this crap ends.

This is our most important draft as the Titans... better not F this up.

Terrible... I'd like to see the Titans get some new uniforms, but not if they're gonna look like that.

We are switching back to our old school navy jerseys this year though.
