Tebow getting any regular season snaps seems unlikely given the amount of Qb's they'll have at camp:

Mark Sanchez
Matt Barkley

That said, even if he makes the team, it would only be as a #3 QB. Most teams scratch the #3 QB. Also, if the #3 QB happens to be active and does take a snap, the starter (and maybe even the backup) is not allowed to return. I believe this is correct. Might not be 100% accurate.

So, all in all, odds are very much against Tebow to even see a single regular season snap.

Wikipedia says the 3rd QB rule was abolished in 2011 though.

Looks like you're right. I'm surprised I never heard about them killing that rule, but it wasn't well known amongst fans to begin with.

So, in that case, assuming he is able to make the #3 QB spot, Tebow absolutely will see some snaps here and there. Lol

I love when the armchairs get all fired up over another team.

It's simple, Philly tried to trade Barkley to Miami, but they went with Freeman instead. Chip, the innovative mind that he is, figured why not bring in a little competition at QB depth. Odds are he won't make the active rosters, at least as a QB, maybe as a TE, and even if he does make the roster it was because he impressed enough to be there.
Either way, a solid depth move.

Tim Tebow is not tough enough to be a TE or he probably would've made the conversion already. My guess is Kelly figured his brilliant offensive mind may be enough to salvage a decent QB from the former national champion.

How so? Hasn't been on a roster for two years, zero starts in three years and never showed the ability to adapt to changing coverage. The fact is that he probably won't make the team at all and there's several superior (better than tebow) qbs sitting on a couch. I'm all for seeing what Tebow can bring. I've seen what Barkley can do, and that's very little. My guess is, Chip feels the same. So as I said, if he doesn't make the team: no big deal. If he does make the team: that means he earned the spot over Barkley - Yay!
Either way, Philly has not a whole lot to lose and plenty of upside. Which is typically the way Chip operates.

Jake Locker, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Clipboard Jesus were and are better QBs than Tebow. That should tell you something Don't be a homer and call adding Tebow a "good depth move." Tons of bad QBs are better than Tebow. If he's used as a RB, he may have a chance to do something decent time to time.

I remember Eagles fans saying the same thing about VY... He was nothing but a distraction. "Dream team." Lol

I have a good friend who's an Eagles fan and he is absolutely furious with Chip Kelly this offseason as he should be.

He's keeping his expectations low, and I think you should do the same. Don't get your hopes up... at least this is what I try my best to do. I get excited about some of our players here and there, but I never expect playoffs or anything. Of course, the Titans are much worse even with Chip Kelly trying to blow up his team. But if you try to rationalize Chip's moves, you'll probably end up getting your hopes crushed.

Luckily the draft is near, and he has a chance to somewhat redeem himself.

I wonder if they'll have the Cowboys play an AFC team or use flex scheduling and have them play an NFC team. The 2 AFC teams the Cowboys play at home are the Jets and Patriots, so the choices aren't bad. I can't imagine they'd put the Patriots game on Thanksgiving because Cowboys-Patriots will be among the highest-rated games of the year and there's no reason to waste that on Thanksgiving when the ratings will be huge regardless of opponent. I don't know if this would matter at all but the last time the Cowboys hosted the Jets in 2007 was on Thanksgiving.
