With Brady, we're talking about a football with a pound or two of air pressure missing. Is this really what this world has come to?

Except ultimately charges were dropped.

Your kinda stretching it there.

He was found guilty by a judge but that was only a process step that meant that next it couldve then gone to an actual trial - which it didnt.

So bottom line he wasnt actually found guilty in the end.

Ok. My mistake. My point was just that there are a lot worse things going on in and around sports than a ball with low air pressure.
I find it pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but I understand that for a lot of folks this seems to be a very serious offense.

Unless I'm missing something, where is the video that clearly shows Tom Brady and his minions physically altering the footballs?

I've seen the video of Tom and his team completely annihilating the Colts and the Seahawks defenses with properly inflated balls.
Man we must have watched a different Super Bowl. Wasn't aware there was annihilation of the Seahawks defense

Haha! You're right bud! Just the Colts got worked. Super Bowl was much more exciting and competitive. I'm terrible with my words when I type stuff out and tend to be a little hyperbolic at times. You got me there!

Oh: great Brady pic too! The good ole days when deflation was in!

Of course not. I'd rather watch paint dry.
What's done is done. This is a typical "blow it out of proportion" media event, with Pats haters and witch hunters thrown in, that's all.
Haters are always gonna hate. This circus shows that all too well.
New England actually got better AFTER the properly inflated balls were being used.
New England stopped Seattle on the final drive
New England is NFL Champions. End of story.
Everything else is just drama being stirred up by folks that want drama stirred up.
Can't wait until this circus is over....again.

lol I love the defense of cheating by saying the cheating didn't give them a significant advantage and the result would have been the same. That is irrelevant as the attempt to cheat and do away with the integrity of the game is still there.

LOL! Every team cheats. Are we going to spend time/money/resources to track down every little infraction?
Would this even be a story if it was Cleveland/Oakland/Jax? Of course not.
It's only a story because it's New England.

I would rather the NFL apply all that time/money/resources to the folks that:

Beat up women
Do drugs
Drink and drive

Zero chances. If they get busted they are done for life.

Sorry, it's beyond beating a dead horse.
Meanwhile, this just in: New England will be trying on new rings and adding more hardware to the trophy case.

Unfortunately many people are missing the principle of this scandal. Things like integrity, honor, ethics, and values are very important. That's at the heart of this entire situation. We must do what is right in life.

And if it was those teams, they would actually have to defend the charges, and not just throw their hands in the air and yell "haters"!

They're talking about giving more games for something so minor like this than when Haynesworth tried to rake somebody's face off with his cleat. As I said, the union and an independent arbiter will crush the NFL. Two games max is the best they can hope for.

Gloves can also help players throw and catch better so they should be illegal.

This isn't about making something illegal.... it's about breaking an existing rule. One that Brady denied knowing about.... except that he petitioned the league to ensure he could manage his balls on the road as well.

Deflate-gate is stupid and 2000% overblown because people are interested in talking/listening about it for some reason.

He knowingly broke the rule, and he'll be punished accordingly.

What else is there to say?

What is he supposed to say? Everyone is doing it and I'm the only one being targeted?

Where's the investigation into Rodgers over-inflating them? Unlike Brady, he even admitted to doing it. Where's his suspension?

This is some gentlemen's agreement/dumb crap that nobody cared about until it was the Patriots.

There's a difference between giving the refs a potentially overinflated ball and them approving it, and what Brady and the Patriots are accused of, which is giving legal balls and then tampering with them after approval.

So it's only cheating if you get caught? Like a teacher caught one person cheating on the exam and didn't pay attention to another so it was ok.
