That's interesting. I never knew they did that.
Seems like a pretty neat idea. Sure championships are the ultimate goal, but it's good to be relevant as well, IMO.

Spoken like a true Iggles fan - best team in the 2000-2009 era, 0 championships.

LOL!

Dallas: largely irrelevant for two decades.
Talk about a team ready to implode.
Can't wait to see Desmond throw sideline tantrums this season!

cowboys could have a losing record every year and still be more relevant than the eagles

Cowboys were supposed to stink last year and were a couple plays away from possibly going to the Super Bowl.
Iggles went from winning the division to watching the play-offs and with the personnel moves they've been making, I'd be surprised if they finish 8-8 this year. Especially since the NFCE has one of the toughest division schedules in the NFL and Mark Sanchez could well end up being their starter for most of the season.

Being a couple plays from making the conference championship game is not a couple plays from possibly going to the Super Bowl.

We had beaten the Seahawks before in their house, I think it would've been much harder in the NFCC but this year our defense will hopefully be good enough to overcome 22 point performances in the play-offs by our offense.

He has a point. Dallas at 3-13 is more relevant than the Eagles at 13-3

Well to be fair if Tebow makes the team then the Eagles could go 0-16 and get more press than Tom Brady's balls

I don't like Big Ben but he seems to be finding his stroke later in his career. Seems to be a big drop-off after those 3 though, probably why the NFC is more stacked than the AFC. Pretty much all the good QBs play in the NFC.

Eagles cut Evan Mathis... Chip Kelly is certainly a strange one. If I'm the Jets, I'm on the horn talking to his agent.

Dude is past his prime but yeah I don't agree with that move. Almost feel like Kelly is putting all his eggs in the basket for this season. Don't see how the Iggles can keep him after this year if they don't win the division after all these head-scratching moves.

I don't get the move either. Even at 34 he is a top tier guard in the league. I guess it's another example that if you don't 100% buy in to Chip, you're out the door.
