Its almost as if the other 3 afc east teams are always betting $$ on the pats to win the division -- you just cant make this stuff up.

I don't understand why they haven't already given Mo a new deal. He's clearly one of the best defensive ends in the NFL and his price is only going to go up as long as he stays healthy. If they franchise him next year the price will likely be over $15 million and there's a good chance he'll hold out if he doesn't get a new deal.

Russell Wilson has reportedly agreed to a 4-year, $87.6 million extension with the Seahawks. The deal reportedly includes a $31 million signing bonus and $60 million guaranteed, although the true guarantee is unknown. This is an extension on to the remaining year at $1.5 million of his rookie deal, so while the new money averages $21.9 million the average of the total deal is $17.82 million.

Way to become the highest paid QB in the league, Russell.

I know. He wanted to be top paid player and he's not even top paid QB.

Wilson wanted a shorter deal so he could get another big payday at age 30.

On Thursday, Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer and his son pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an incident in which both Kromers were accused of hitting minors during a dispute over beach chairs in Florida earlier this month.

There was another court date set for both Kromers in September, but it won’t be necessary. Bill Eddins, the State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit in Florida, announced in a press release, via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com, Friday that the charges have been dropped against both men.

Per the release, the charges were dropped at the request of the parents of the two minor children allegedly struck during the incident. The parents said injuries sustained by their children were minor and that they didn’t wish to have their lives disrupted any further. The release also references an “amicable resolution” had been reached between the parties.

Kromer was placed on paid leave after his arrest and Bills coach Rex Ryan said before the charges were dropped on Friday that he had no update on Kromer’s status. Presumably the decision to drop the charges will lead the Bills to make a decision about whether Kromer will be back with the team this season.
Well this is an interesting development.

A settlement certainly came to my mind as well. I'm hearing he will be suspended without pay to start the season. It hasn't yet been revealed how many games though.

I'm not talking millions. But all pro coaches make a healthy living.

Found an article from 2005 that suggested the typical position coach made 200K, but that at least 2 were making 7 figures. Sands that was 11 years ago.

Idk how they afford all these guys.

I'd have to look at how all the contracts have been structured, but they're probably back-loaded... and in a couple years they'll be in cap hell and have to start rebuilding after cutting some of these big name players.
