Playoffs this year IMO... As a wild card team.

But last night meant absolutely nothing. You can pretty much ignore everything you see in preseason.

Can't wait for Friday though... Mariota hype is insane right now. I honestly can't remember a rookie QB being hyped up this much in training camp. Please be good. We deserve this. I've suffered long enough. It's time.

I don't normally keep up on preseason games but is the Titans game going to be televised? If so, I'll check it out till they pull him from the game, like the 1st quarter.

I do think our game Friday will be on NFL Network. And then another one (Rams maybe) will be on FOX? Idk... This is according to what I've heard.

I am hoping we still have Friday's game locally on channel 2 because I currently don't have cable and use an HD antenna to pick up a few local channels. Gotta get cable before the regular season starts though.

EDIT: I don't think our game will be live on NFL Network... but they replay all the preseason games, so you can see it that way.

Also NFL RedZone is again doing their free 5 preseason editions.
Should be available on the RedZone channel on all major providers except directv since this is the NFLN version.

week 4 - sep 3 7:00-11

That actually may be a QB upgrade....geno was ranked 28 of 32 how worse can fitz be.

Geno would miss maybe 4 games - jets should go 1-3 with or without him anyways.

Per Adam Schefter this is what the fight was over:

At the heart of the dispute between former Jets LB IK Enemkpali and quarterback Geno Smith is $600 that Enemkpali believed Smith owed him, per league sources. Enemkpali purchased a plane ticket for Smith to attend his July 11 football camp at Pfugerville High School in Pfugerville, Texas. However, days before the camp, a person close to Smith was killed in a motorcycle accident in Miami and Smith did not attend Enemkpali’s camp, per sources. After Smith did not attend, Enemkpali demanded that the Jets’ quarterback refund him the $600 he allegedly used to purchase a plane ticket. Smith told Enemkpali he would reimburse him the money, but he did not. Enkempali confronted Smith today about the money and the confrontation ended in a punch and broken jaw.

So a dispute over $600 cost Enemkpali his $510,000 salary and may have ended his career.
