Well, maybe not blow them out, but beat them handily. Anyway, the Falcons were exposed as the frauds they are and have been over the past several years. The "thuds" you heard last night was everyone in Atlanta falling off the bandwagon.

I assume you think Super Bowl winners are good teams, right? Only recent Super Bowl champion that hasn't lost to a team with less than 10 wins? The 2013 Seahawks.... who went to OT at home against a 4 win team.

2014: Patriots lost to Dolphins, Bills and Chiefs.
2013: Seahawks beat the Bucs and Texans in OT.
2012: Ravens lost to Eagles and Steelers.

2011: Giants lost to 4 teams with .500 or worse records.
2010: Packers lost to Redskins, Lions and Dolphins.

Calling out your own team is not the best idea for a second-year receiver who hasn't come close to living up to his draft position after the Bills traded up to get him. Sammy Watkins said this yesterday:

"I need the ball at least 10 times -- I need 10 targets -- and l'll be fine with however many yards I get," Watkins told the newspaper. "And that's what I addressed in talking with my agent. We reached out to a couple people and tried to pull some string like, 'Hey, I need my targets. You came up to draft me and I'm not getting targets -- that's a problem.'

"'You're making me look bad, and you're making yourself look bad. Why not make both of us look good?'"

"For a guy you go up in the draft to take as your No. 1 receiver, you would love those 15 targets that Julio [Jones] gets, those 20 targets that Odell [Beckham Jr.] gets," he told the newspaper. "Of course I'd have 100 yards every game and a TD, if I'm getting 20 targets."

"Everybody looks at you getting zero catches, zero yards, but when you look on film, 90 percent of the time you're open," Watkins told the newspaper. "I understand that these guys are young and they need some time to trust me. Once we get that trust, it'll be different."

Added Watkins: "That's what I get mad at: when I don't get looked at. I can look at film, and his eyes go straight that way and I'm not getting looked at, at all. That's when I get frustrated. When I have one-on-one coverage, go to me. I don't care what's going on over there. I don't care if he's open. When I get one-on-one, just target me."

So Watkins is saying "I don't care if every other receiver is running uncovered, if I'm only being single covered throw me the ball" That kind of attitude deserves to rot away in Buffalo.

Staying on the field has been his problem. He keeps getting soft tissues injuries, and to this point are really holding him back from reaching his potential.

The wheels are already falling off a Rex Ryan-coached team? Surprising.

This guy is either too stubborn or too stupid to realize that he needed to change his tune before bringing his same old tired act that he used with us previously (and obviously wore paper thin) cross-state to BUF. That being said, as a Jets fan, I'm happy he did.
