i always secretly hope that when a guy is jumping in the air or doing something stupid that they jack their knee or ankle.

As much as don't care for the Cowboys, I always respected Emmit Smith after all those touchdown, he just took hi helmet off and collected the ball and walked over the the sideline. Of course now, with the No Fun League, you can't take your helmet off.
But the point is, just act like you've been there/done that before.

One thing I can't stand, and always cringe for fear of injury, is that stupid jumping chest bump. Stop jumping when you celebrate!! Don't risk the injury!!

Every quarterback misses throws. Rodgers missed a wide open Cobb on Sunday.

WTH was with Tannehill missing the shotgun snap near his end zone AGAIN this week?! That's two weeks in a row, same spot on the field. Saw it on the C'mon Man segment on ESPN last night.

Every QB misses throws, yeah, you're right.

Of the 3 QB's you've discussed, let's take a look-see at completion percentage:

1. Cam Newton - 53.7%

2. Colin Kaepernick - 59%

3. Aaron Rodgers - 64.7%

Other mentionables

4. Tom Brady - 68.6%

5. Peyton Manning - 62.3%

6. Russell Wilson - 68.8%

Looks to me like Cam misses, well, a bunch of throws. He's dead last looking at QB's with 200 attempts or more.

I'm not questioning Cam's talent and abilities. He's talented. However his cocky demeanor both on the field (his over animated celebrations, trash talking to refs, his lame displays of aggression/antics after running the ball) and his arrogance off the field (telling reporters that he ripped a fans sign down because "It was a Green Bay banner in Bank of America Stadium...just doesn't match. It's a respect thing, you're not about to sell a (Burger King) 'Whopper' in a McDonalds.") What is he going to do next? Go into the stands to rip opposing team jerseys off all of the fans in attendance?

Right now he's cocky and arrogant and has nothing to show for it except being undefeated (at this time in 2015). He doesn't have a ring, and since he's been QB in 2011 the Panthers have only been to the playoffs twice, and both times they lost in the divisional round.

The true champions still playing, Brady, Rodgers, and Manning, to name a few don't pull the same cocky attitude and demeanor because, well, they don't have to. They've got the bling to back it up.

I'm not jumping into this QB argument, nor do I condone him ripping down any banners, but one point of clarification - apparently, BOA Stadium has it included in their T & Cs that there are to be no opposing team banners hung anywhere in the stadium. That doesn't mean Cam should be the one enforcing this, but thought I'd point it out.

i know.

but Newton misses throws that no NFL qb s/b missing....on a regular basis.

that score could've been so much worse on Sunday than it was had he made a few more throws that he never should've missed.

If you're just going to throw up the completion percentages you might want to look at why that percentage is what is. Cam has the highest yard per completion average in the NFL meaning he is throwing the ball down the field, not throwing a ton of check downs. Passing down the field is going to have a higher incompletion percentage. Tyrod Taylor has a 71% completion percentage but is only averaging 5 yards a pass.

Cam isn't the first player in history to rip a sign down. Nobody is questioning Jason Taylor's demeanor when he ripped a Cowboys sign down. I barely remember any reaction when Lesean McCoy ripped the Redskins banner down. Cam plays the game to have fun and he loves it. These guys aren't working a typical 9-5 job so why should they have to act like it. They're playing a game!

Field Yates ‏@FieldYates
The Colts announce: QB Andrew Luck suffered an abdominal tear & lacerated kidney vs. Broncos. Full recovery is estimated to take 2-6 weeks.
The Colts are off this week, then have a road game at Atlanta, home against Tampa, at Pittsburgh, at Jacksonville, and home against Houston. Matt Hasselbeck played decent when Luck was out earlier this season so there might not be a huge drop-off considering Luck hasn't been very good this season.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not Yes, Cam is pretty cocky. But Rodgers is the worst one in the league. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have him on my team, but you can't say Rodgers doesn't have that demeanor.
