I think it's lame they removed it anyway. The players who are the focus of the game do stupid things, too, yet we don't censor them (not that I necessarily think what Williams said is stupid).

NFL.com's Jeff Darlington reports the Dolphins are concerned that Chad Henne's separated left shoulder could be season-ending in nature.
Darlington just left the Miami Herald for NFL.com. He's a trusted voice on Dolphins matters. While the team awaits a second opinion on Henne's shoulder, they are reportedly continuing efforts to "rekindle" failed discussions with free agent David Garrard. Thus far, the Fins are not offering Garrard any guaranteed money, which is obviously a stumbling block. Jake Delhomme looks like a potential fallback option.

Not at all. That would mean losing most games, and I will never root for my team to lose.

NEVER!

So you'd rather go 5-11 and get the 5th pick than 1-15 and get the top pick and a player that looks like the best college quarterback since Peyton Manning? I'm not saying you should root for them to lose, but if the team is going to suck either way I wouldn't get upset about having the worst record in the league. Getting the top pick could also land them a better coach because many of the top coaches without a job would love to take over a team with Andrew Luck.

If you're team is not capable of winning playoff games or even making the playoffs at all, might as well hope for a high pick.

Hank isn't a player. And yes, teams can and do suspend and/or fine players for saying things that reflect poorly on the team/league. If Hank were a player my guess is he'd be fined and probably suspended too. Free speech means freedom from the government putting you in jail for what you say. It doesn't prohibit your employer from punishing you financially for things you say.

Guys what I think SteroMike is trying to say is that he loves his team to much to root for them to lose. As attractive as Andrew Luck is, I personally could never root for my team to lose. For me, it would be having the pride to see my team fight until the bitter end rather than give up for a better draft pick. (Which I was so proud of seeing Buffalo do last year)

My attitude is that if you're not going to make the playoffs, end with the worst record possible, especially now that there's a rookie salary cap.

Nah, they should keep Brian Schottenheimer the whole season.

Honestly though, he's not the problem. They have quarterback issues.

Right now their biggest issue is offensive line. I didn't realize how great Nick Mangold was until he was injured. It's clear that he is the key on that line and they got exposed without him. He's a game time decision Sunday and as a Patriots fan I'm obviously hoping he can't play. Sanchez is definitely not used to being under so much pressure and has done a terrible job adjusting. It's also clear that they made a mistake relying on Plaxico Burress and Derrick Mason. Neither of them have done much and it's hurt Santonio Holmes' production as well. Then of course there's the fact that Shonn Green still doesn't look like a #1 back.

So in essence, their entire offense is the problem.

I know what free speech means, but I think you missed my point.
