None. I believe the two first round picks the Browns ended up with as a result of that trade were Brandon wheeden and Phil Taylor. wheeden one those QBs the Browns like to take with the 20th plus pick and Taylor who was released before the season started.

We have a GM who is allergic to drafting a receiver. Maybe josh Gordon comes back next season and the new QB will have a legit weapon. Maybe not

Browns need to hire a new GM then hire a coach then draft a QB in the first round and a reciever in the 2nd round. In that order. Might seem like a simple task hiring a GM before the coach but for some reason the Browns have trouble with that.

None of those picks that you listed were the best player available when they were chosen (except maybe Shelton). Erving, Gilbert, and Mingo were all distant over-reaches when they were chosen (according to the vast majority of analysts).

We have to win out to have a shot at the playoffs and I don't see it happening. Oh well, much improved over last year so I'll take it.

Yep not only have the players been disappointing so have the people who make the decisions. Overall it's been rather pathetic an unbelievable how they've managed to screw up everything related to running a successful football team. The only way I can see it getting fixed is finding the right QB to build around. A guys who's talent is able to over come the losing culture and poor choices made by those in charge. That's why I want the Browns to get the first pick and I'm willing to sacrifice a 4-12 season over a 3-13 season

But, none of the QBs available in this upcoming draft have that potential talent - none of them are a future Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Aaron Rodgers. So, why waste another first-round pick on another QB who isn't going to pan out. Instead, use it on the consensus best player available.

I want someone who can at least drive the bus, something Cassel and Weeden couldn't do consistently this season.
