The week 16 Sunday Night Football game will be decided based on tonight's result:

Quote:
Flex: If #Giants win tonight, #Giants/#Vikings on Dec. 27 is the SNF game. If Giants lose or tie, #Steelers/#Ravens will be Sunday night.
The Patriots-Jets games would have been a better option but the Patriots are already at the limit for prime time games, and it appears the Cardinals-Packers game was protected by Fox.

The best chance to land a perceived top tier QB is at the top of the draft, but you never know until they actually play. Also, sometimes a team can be so bad they actually ruin the QB (David Carr got sacked 76 times his rookie season).

Not to mention I thought I had heard that CBS protected the NE @ NYJ game.

It wouldn't be a surprise if the Patriots game was protected. Networks have to decide which games they're protecting in October and at that time the Patriots weren't scheduled to hit the prime time limit.

Ryan Mallett to Baltimore? Their season is already lost. Unless they're auditioning for next year's backup (which Clausen clearly isn't; do they want Schaub back?), they might as well see what Renner can do.

So let me get this straight. Lamar Miller has the hot hand and has scored both of your touchdowns...so you don't give him a single touch the rest of the half. No wonder the Dolphins are terrible.

Seriously. The team who is going to sign Miller should thank the Fins. He's going to have no tread on his tires.

Sounds like the kind of coaching decision Garrett would make. Cowboys ran for 162 yards on 16 carries last week and threw for about 112 yards on 29 attempts. Gee, I wonder which part of the offense we should've leaned on.

I understand there are no guarantees and that bad teams can ruin a QB among other positions. I have a hard time believing that the Browns have been so imcompetent at drafting over the last 17 years that they've only been able to find a hand full of guys who are capable of playing at a really high level for any extended amount of time (Haden and Thomas are the only ones who stick out) it's much more likely that the losing culture has destroyed many fine players before they had a chance to shine. I still want a QB. Needs to be a guy who's talent can transcend the problems of this organization. Maybe that guy is t in is draft but I'm willing to take that chance. Only one way to find out. If Manziel is still on this team next year I may take some time off from watching the Browns until it's done. Unless a miracle happens and he turns into a winner I just can't take any more of it. I want my team to win. It's all about winning and the Browns have failed horribly at that for way too long now. This team this year is the worst I've ever seen. I think the 99 expansion team would beat them 8 out of ten times.

when you say "top of the draft," do you mean in the 1st round or early in the 1st round??

b/c if you mean early in the 1st round......Aaron Rodgers would have something to say about that.

anyway......saw the Packers signed Mike Daniels to an extension....pretty pumped about that!! the guy has been a solid player the last couple of seasons.

Our playoff drought is so long that you could have sex with it in 30 states.

I must admit that this year does feel different. You can tell we are about to be a really good football team and actually have a quarterback to build around.

Do you think Mario Williams will be back with Buffalo next season? I've read a lot of criticism about his effort and performance and speculation that he could be cut. He's got a cap number of $19.9 million next season but no guaranteed money and it would only be a cap hit of $7 million if he was cut. The Bills are pretty close to the projected 2016 cap right now and they'll need to do something to create some cap space.

Highly unlikely Mario is back. I don't like to say it, but Kyle Williams is probably going to be looked at very closely as well. The priorities for us after the season are resigning Cordy Glenn and Richie Incognito. Stephon Gilmore is likely to be addressed as well.

First sentence is hilarious

Second paragraph i can relate to being a Raiders fan. I can see us both playing wild card weekend next year
