When Benjamin went down, I thought the Panthers were done. I thought 9-7 would win that division... I had the Falcons winning it. Cam should absolutely be the MVP. That said, I can't help but want to his face when he loses in the playoffs. I'm all for having fun on the field, but he takes it to another level sometimes, and I'm pretty tired of it, personally. I feel like he's got another thing coming for the way he's acted. We shall see. He just makes it hard for me to pull for them. But I would no doubt love him if we're a Titan. I think Mariota is gonna get to Cam's level eventually. What he's done this season is absolutely amazing and it's a shame he gets no credit for breaking tons of rookie records on the least talented offensive team in the NFL. |

I would trade Dez Bryant, our #1 overall pick in the next draft and Gavin Escobar for Cam Newton. Never would've guessed I'd say that before this season. Guess we're finally seeing the fruition of that off-season he spent with Troy Aikman.

I despise arrogance more than anybody I know and I have absolutely no problem with anything Cam or CAR does. The guys play a game for a living and are having fun. For once, the No Fun League is allowing players to enjoy themselves. Curmudgeons need not apply.
EDIT: Fair enough, I can see where that would be disrespectful, wait until the game is over at least. The rest of it I'm fine with. Last edited by RageATL; 12-17-2015 at 02:17 PM. |

Lol at all the Cam/ Panther hate. The team has taken a picture on the sideline every game. You're only hearing about it now because they're 13-0.
Rivera won't rest players the final two games. He's already spoken about this and thinks it hurts the team more than it helps. He may start pulling players later during the games but there's no way they don't start. |

Six games in, the rest of the NFL got tape on the offense and that was all she wrote. They will right the ship once the HC gets his guys in there and gets rid of the bums like Roddy, etc.

That's assuming he going to a new city, and that's looking unlikely. Texans owner Bob McNair said a couple days ago it's unlikely the owners would approve a move of the Rams because it's clear St. Louis is serious about working with the team to build a new stadium, whereas virtually nothing is happening in Oakland and San Diego. Kroenke would need 24 votes from the owners to move to LA and there's virtually no chance he could get that. Where it could become interesting is if Kroenke won't give up his fight for LA he could probably get enough other owners to vote against the Chargers/Raiders move and at that point no team would be in LA next year.

You probably wouldn't have been fine with it if he was dancing around mocking your players and trying to start sh*t at your stadium like he did at ours. Don't think there are many fans of teams not named the Panthers fine with that crap. I took zero issue with the sideline photo. Nothing wrong with that... It's purely the way he acts on the field. And I assure you, when he loses in the playoffs the floodgates will open and other teams are going to be mocking his first down crap to him all game long. |

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...team/20261187/ Maybe he's (A) just happy to be alive and (B) happy to be paid handsomely playing the game that he loves with his boys. That's not to mention part of his "schtick" is ensuring a kid in the stands gets a ball after each TD, but no one brings that up. As far as me being fine with anybody mocking our players/team...dude, I'm a Jets fan, the entire LEAGUE mocks my team and has for quite some time. I couldn't give a crap...my skin is far thicker than that from following my garbage team for over 35 years. I assure you, Cam is keenly aware that should they drop a regular season game or if/when the get ousted from the playoffs, it will be rubbed in his face ad nauseum. That's part and parcel of the whole shebang. |

What I'm not okay with is the mocking. You're referring to a different type of mocking. The Titans are mocked by fans because we suck. I even mock our team. We deserve to be mocked in that sense. I'm talking about Cam directly mocking players. It would seriously be like Brady going up to a random garbage player and dancing in his face. I guarantee you if it were a guy like Brady or Peyton, people wouldn't be like "oh yea, it's totally fine and I love it." Karma's gonna get Cam in the playoffs. Guarantee it. Then you'll see the guy's true colors. This is the same guy who's had the baby face on the sidelines when his team loses and pouts to the media after losses. Same guy who celebrates first downs when getting blown out. But as you'll notice in a previous post, I'd give him the MVP. He's earned it. But when the playoffs roll around, he better tone it down and be ready to face some serious adversity. |
