Eagles are officially done unless a miracle happens but I doubt it looks like Washington will take the NFC East

Quote:
Giants coach Tom Coughlin said he strongly considered benching Odell Beckham Week 15 against the Panthers.
Beckham was out of control in the third quarter, committing two personal fouls and launching himself into Panthers CB Josh Norman's head at the end of a play. When asked why he did not bench Beckham, Coughlin said, "He’s got to learn at some point how to deal with some things on the field ... I want him out there to win the football game." Beckham is unlikely to face a suspension for his actions against Carolina, but it is not out of the question. Beckham is not making any friends around the league in his sophomore campaign.

Even with a loss Philly still controls its own destiny.
I'm just wondering if we will ever get a serviceable secondary in my lifetime?

Helps when you don't pay bums like Byron Maxwell to be your #1 corner when he was the #2 corner in Seattle and only really looked like a stud as a result of the overall defense.

We had no choice. Our secondary was historically bad last season.
I never really like the Maxwell signing, but something...anything had to be done.

Oh sure! As I've said all along this has been a rebuilding year. Chip inherited a 4-12 team that was old and expensive. The secondary was not even a good 3rd string. There was no market so a gamble had to be made.

That's the NFL for ya, beat one of the best teams in the NFL one week, get smoked by one of the other best teams in the NFL the next. Wish the Cowboys could've kept Romo upright, just isn't the same when the Cowboys suck out loud.

Nothing better than a little fantasy football pissin' and moanin' to brighten up the NFL thread.

I'm sure if Rodgers would have had more protection on his line, receivers that could get open, and some higher productivity games, you'd be singing a different tune because it would beef up your "wallet".

The Packers have been anything but stellar this year. That's a given. But they're 10-4, they haven't given up after a tough 6 week mid-season string of games that were anything but glamorous. And they are still very in the thick of things.

But yeah, I see what you're saying, potential NFC 3rd seed... complete and utter fraud.

How many times were you gifted the ball on the Raiders side of the field, and how many TDs did they score let alone have Rodgers throw a TD pass?

Lol fantasy football and the NFL are far too intertwined to not hear "*****ing and moaning" about it. Better get used to that.

Yeah he's been a fraud this year. Sorry if it offends Packers fans to speak ill of the Golden child

Is Aaron Rodgers a fraud, or the guy that drafted him in his fantasy league?
Here's a hint: it's not the former. He's done his job.
Also keep in mind, no FF owner is ever wrong.

NFL has to suspend Beckham for his cheap shots yesterday. They were on a Suh type level. Very disappointing to see.

Hey I'm still winning . Hopefully it stays that way tonight. Aaron Rodgers has been a fantasy fraud this year. Plain and simple. Not really arguable, but I suppose you could give it a go

I'm interested to see if this season is an anomaly, or if we are witnessing the decline of Aaron Rodgers.

I was playing around with the NFL Playoff Machine on ESPN.com and it appears that the Broncos would miss the playoffs if they lose to the Bengals this week and the Steelers, Jets, and Chiefs win out. In that scenario the the Chiefs, Steelers, Jets, and Broncos (assuming a week 17 win) would all be 11-5 and the Chiefs would be the AFC West champion, the Steelers would be the 5 seed, the Jets would be the 6 seed, and the Broncos would miss the playoffs.

That scenario isn't too absurd. The Jets would have to beat the Patriots this week but the Jets played the Patriots tough their first matchup and that was on the road with the Patriots near full strength. They'd also need to win at Buffalo, and while the Bills are fading fast they won the first game against the Jets and I'm sure they'd give their all to try and keep the Jets out of the playoffs. The Steelers should win both of their games with the Browns and Ravens remaining. The Chiefs should win both of their games with the Browns and Raiders remaining.

That's kinda how I feel about Romo right now but as much as I appreciate what the man has done for us since 2005, I think his career is definitely coming to an end. Rodgers is just missing a true #1 WR and a more consistent OL, hard for any QB to put up good #s behind such a porous group.

Chiefs and Jets are both solid teams. Never mind. Just realized we have literally beaten no quality teams.
Minnesota already beat the Chiefs this year, but nice try That's not to say the Chiefs aren't good, because they are, I'm just saying don't sleep on the Vikings
