I think the McCoy for Alonso trade was the beginning of the end for Chip. It does not appear that went over well in the Eagles locker room, and he never seemed to regain the trust with his players.

Chip's system is not going to last in the NFL. He doesn't make very good adjustments and he clearly has no capabilities as a GM, so hopefully his days in that role are over. He gets his defenses killed with horrible clock management/TOP, and he seems incredibly stubborn. We already had the Whiz who was painfully stubborn. Can't deal with another smartest guy in the room.

IMO he needs to stick to college.

I disagree on Bradford, he's a solid hit away from being knocked out again. Dude is as fragile as the day is long. Also disagree on McCoy, he was a perfect RB for PHI.

Another miss: paying DeMarco Murray a boatload of money and not even playing him cuz he was too arrogant and stubborn to realize he didn't fit his system.

Speaking of injury, oh yeah McCoy. He was not worth the $13mil Philly would have had to pay him. He had to go!
Murray can be dealt to the tune of a $4mil cap hit, but I think if the line is boosted his stats will as well. Time will tell.

This is all Lurie's mess. He obviously kept Howie Roseman nearby and if he was going to go all in on Chip, he should've done just that. He didn't and now he's got a mess on his hands, unless he's got someone better lined up.

I never wanted Reid to go! He's a borderline HoF coach. Just needs a ring and he's in! Philly should've never gotten rid of him.
Chip was doing a good job, but as I just said, Lurie tried to go "all in" without really going "all in", and now it's going to bite him.
Chip had definitely done more good than bad. It was a rebuilding year, and we almost snuck in a division title(in a woeful division). Lurie just hit the panic button to early, but he pays the bills, so it's ultimately his call.
So now Lurie has is dream boy Roseman back...I weep for this draft!

Bradford is Mr. Glass...dude is simply not durable enough at that position yet he continues too make big money in the league, the mind boggles.

Fair enough, Shady was getting paid but he was their home run hitter and a fan favorite. That alienated a lot of PHI fans right off the bat. And to trade him straight up for Kiko Alonso was simply asinine.

Payton would be a great hire for you guys. Another decent hire would be Hue Jackson.

Bradford only missed 3 games, behind a very suspect line. Doesn't seem like glass to me. Also there is literally no other proven talent out there better than him. You need an elite QB to win in today's NFL.
Again, what jump? If anything Philly is behind the game because they have already shown their hand. They can't talk to anyone unless they are fired too. So this "jump" you keep mentioning is non existent.
