I would also say lack of any receivers aside from Gronk and Edelman. LaFell is a talent but inconsistent.

Imagine how many rungs Peyton would have if he had a defense anywhere near this good throughout his career. Denver isn't as bad as the 2000 Ravens offensively but they're probably one of the worst offensive teams to ever make a Super Bowl.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd imagine the Super Bowl spread will be very close to even money regardless of whether it's Carolina or Arizona vs. Denver.

I think both the Cardinals and Panthers are better than the Broncos, but the story book Super Bowl ending never fails.
