personally i found it hilarious. cocky as all sh!t when he's winning and scoring touchdowns.....but when he gets his @$$ handed to him he turns into an 8 year old that just had his ball taken away.

there's your MVP......18 for 41 w/no TD's in the biggest game of the year.

i thought watching Manning lose another Super Bowl would've been the best outcome.....turns out i was wrong.
Yeah, one of the better QB's in the game is in the "wrong line of work." Whatever you say. Let me put it this way, how would you have liked Cam to answer the idiotic questions he was asked post game? You ask a stupid question you get a stupid response.

Minny has a retractable dome so the game itself woulnt have elements.

I don't have an issue with a guy being sad and depressed during the interviews but you do have to suck it up and give the media something to go with. Instead he made his attitude the story. You can still be "real" and come across as classy.

Curious who the Broncos will play in the opener. They've got several decent options with home games against the Chargers, Chiefs, Raiders, Texans, Falcons, Panthers, Colts and Patriots. Since the NFL created the kickoff game there has only been divisional matchups twice, both featuring the Giants hosting an NFC East team, and there hasn't been an interconference game since 2007. That certainly doesn't mean those games are out, and the game against the Panthers, Colts, Chiefs, or Patriots all seem like realistic possibilities, although if I was betting I'd say it will be the Colts.

HOU is a marginal playoff team? Again, what team in the NFL has a good enough team sans a QB that is on the cusp of a playoff berth/run that would consider an old, dead arm QB to lead them to the promised land?

ne = brady still could be suspended wks 1-4 pending upcoming deflategate ruling

CAR, NE or IND seem the likeliest to me.

I'm not saying Peyton's decision will be a rational one. And yes, Houston is a marginal playoff team. They did make the playoffs this season. Plenty of teams would bring Peyton in just because of his name brand, even if he's horrible. I have a feeling PEyton actually believes he can somehow compete for another title.

Also New Orleans is right in hurricane territory so I would rule them out also. Have to keep the site rotating anyway to keep revenue up in different markets. Oh and on a note I was thinking last night, I hope Goddell gets fired before the next season, his tenure as commissioner has gotten rather irksome at this point.
Minny will have a dome but Super Bowl week is a fan event. I think you'll see a lot of indoor events. I get cold just thinking about Minnesota in February. Are you up there?

NOLA- hurricane season ends in October. Biggest party town in America and it always comes a week before Mardi Gras. Gets insane in good and bad ways. They just have to pay the electric bill this time

I'm glad we agree about Houston. Just not a fun place. and yes I hope Goddell gets canned.

press conferences are part of the job......he knew there would be one after the game.....win or lose......and he showed how much of a sore loser he really is. his true character finally came out this season.

Denver was the better prepared team, plain and simple. Newton wasn't nearly prepared as he s/h/b and it came back to bite him in the @$$.

after the game he should have sacked-up, put on his big boy panties, and went out and answered the questions like a man......or better yet......like an "elite" NFL quarterback, team leader (which everyone was praising all year long), and the face of his franchise.....not like some snot nosed punk who just skinned his knee.

HOU made the playoffs cuz the rest of that division is pure garbage...someone had to win it.

No you don't. All that's required is that you show up at the presser. It wouldn't have mattered what he said, the media was going to demonize him like they always do. I'm glad he shot down their stupid questions and didn't play their game.

I have a lot of family in Minnesota, that's where a lot of my mother's side of the family is from. Sure we probably wouldn't be able to afford to go to the game, even the nosebleeds are prohibitively priced but at least it could give us a really good reason to go up there and see family we usually don't see. Plus it would be nice for the Vikings to both win their first Lombardi and become the first team ever to win it while hosting it. Well nice for the Minnesota relatives, it would have a marginal if best impact on my demeanor.

But he was giving stupid responses, pouting, had a negative demeanor throughout the entire press conference, and lastly just walked away from the interview.

I think it's pretty funny how you excuse the QB's who've lost Superbowls in a respective and professional mannerism on "scripted replies and canned responses". Instead of giving them props for them being able to handle themselves properly, you call them "fakers". Except these "fakers" also handled themselves the same way when they were winning, professionally and with respect and courtesy. That's the big difference here.

If Cam can be "Mr. Personality" when he's winning. He can gloat, he can handle the press with his fancy one liners, and do all his trash talking. He better be able to handle the heat when he's not able to show up on the big stage. Bottom line, if he didn't spend the 2nd half of the season being a cocky and arrogant SOB, he wouldn't have the 360 degree personality turn that he has displayed because of the loss. If he just handled himself professionally both when he wins and he loses, I'd have a completely different opinion of him.
