Wonder how that would work. Peyton should have quite a few good years left. Luck is probably NFL ready right now. It's not like an Aaron Rodgers situation where he needs to wait in the shadows for a few years.

We're talking a LOT of draft picks. Luck would command an unprecedented number of picks in any trade.

He should be. I don't think much of Tebow as a starter, but he can't be much worse than Orton.

If they have that pick, then that means they will get a new coach. If Gabbert doesn't impress the rest of this year and the new coaches don't like him, they could easily draft Luck.

I think if they would get the top pick, they will trade it for a shit ton of picks/players.

Wes Welker...

I guess the guy just needed a good QB. No way in hell he could get that kind of number with the Dolphins.

That's certainly possible. You could probably get a herschel walker type ransom for Andrew Luck's draft rights. For a team like Jacksonville with a ton of holes to fill it may not be a bad idea.

Yeah, that is probably the likely scenario for teams like the Colts, Rams, and Jaguars. I wouldn't rule out drafting Luck though, especially if people still think of him as the next Peyton Manning come draft time. The Colts could take him. We don't really know the extent of Manning's neck injury and what that will do to him long term. The five more years that people thought he had left could easily become shorter. Aaron Rodgers sat for 3 years, why can't Luck?

It all depends on Luck really. The guy will command the power to decide whether he'll accept being a backup for a few years or not. If the Colts have the top pick and Luck tells them he doesn't want to wait then my guess is they'd trade the pick for a king's ransom. From what I do know of Luck he seems like the type who would be ok waiting for his shot. The kid did pass on the 2011 draft where he would have been guaranteed to go #1 after all.

That's true. I didn't even think of Luck refusing to go. I do think the Manning injury is more serious than most people think. It will certainly be an interesting draft with a few quarterbacks projected to go in the top 10 at this point and some of the teams with projected top picks having already drafted quarterbacks in the 2011 draft.

Its crazy how all of AL Davis's boys stepped it up today, Huff with the HUGE Int to end the game, DHB with a Huge game today, Janikowski going 4 for 4 connecting from 55,54,50 & 46 yard field goals today, and Richard Seymour with 2 sacks today

Long road ahead of us, but I sure hope its a sign of things to come

He's clapping though, McGahee with the 2 point conversion to make it 26-18.

Niners are unbeatable, they should be 5-0 (stupid Cowboys). It's crazy how much of a difference can a coach make.
