Say goodbye to being reinstated by the commish Johnny Folly. The Pack won it without him they can go on without him. TT will cut ties with this clown as soon as a new CBA is in place.

Another week, another negative Dez Bryant story. Dez is reportedly being sued for $246,000 by a jeweler who claims he produced custom jewelry worth $267,000 but has only been paid $21,000. The purchases occurred at various times between January and May 2010. Dez's contract had $8.5 million in guaranteed money.

Dallas Cowboys' players will respond to the lockout by conducting their own workouts in April, reserve quarterback Stephen McGee said on Monday.

McGee spoke at a Fellowship for Christian Athletes event in Amarillo. He told the Amarillo Globe-News that quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten will organize the workouts.

``We are going to find a way to get work in,'' McGee told the newspaper. ``The off-season work is always very important even if it's just doing light 7-on-7s to get refreshed. The playbooks are really thick in the NFL. There's a lot of work that needs to be done.
``There's going to be an NFL season. There's got to be.''

A felony warrant has been issued for Tampa Bay cornerback Aqib Talib. Talib has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after a March 21 incident in which he allegedly attempted to pistol whip and shot at his sister's boyfriend. Talib is expected to turn himself in later this week.

Talib was already a felon and was not allowed to have a gun, much less fire one. Awhile back he physically assulted a cab driver. He has a pattern of bad behavior. He's probably gone from the Bucs after this and may have a hard time finding any team if there's anything at all to these charges.

Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly was denied bond and will stay in jail for at least the next 3 weeks. He is charged with possession of a controlled substance (codeine). There's little doubt Jolly's career is over. He was suspended for all of last season for violating the league's substance abuse policy for a prior codeine arrest. I'm sure the Packers wish they could release Jolly so his name wasn't connected to the team but they must wait until there is a new CBA.

Bucs CB Aqib Talib surrendered to Texas police Wednesday morning on charges of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was released on $25,000 bond after two hours at the jail. Talib is in danger of a lengthy prison sentence in addition to league-imposed suspension once the lockout ceases. Commissioner Roger Goodell has made it clear that the league is logging all arrests as NFL players take on a "Wild Wild West" attitude with no Personal Conduct Policy currently in effect.

I'm surprised Von Miller is going to the draft as he's one of the plaintiffs in the case against the NFL. I think this shows the NFLPA has completely abandoned any efforts to keep players from going to the draft.

According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, the "feeling at Valley Ranch" is that the Cowboys remain committed to Dez Bryant despite his recent mall incident and string of lawsuits for unpaid jewelry.
Sources tell Breer that there's plenty of in-house concern, but owner Jerry Jones has "built a bridge" with Bryant, and is a believer in second and third chances. One team source observed that Bryant has a "lack of life skills" at age 22. Another says he's "never seen that before" when talking about Bryant's on-field talent. Said a third source, "A lot of it is not his fault, it's because of the way he was brought up. He's got a good heart, and the best intentions, but all this stuff happens and it takes away from that."

It's up to the courts right now, which is a very bad thing -
Players working out on their own
Possibly no pre-season free agency or trades
So even if we have a season, a lot of teams won't be able to improve as much as they should've been able to, not to mention there will be a LOT of injuries
