I'm not really impressed. Especially not for what the Rams gave up to get their pick of the litter. There's certainly no Andrew Luck in this bunch.

What's hilarious to me, and I've mentioned this a lot on here, is the Carson Wentz hype.

I hope and pray the Rams take him and start him all 16 games. Top 10 pick for us.

Goff is significantly better and it isn't even close... Wentz has the size advantage, and it's comical how analysts have not figured out that size doesn't always translate into success. He wasn't even good in the Senior Bowl! Lol go look at the teams the guy faced in college. It's laughable.

Everything people are saying about Wentz... They all said the same exact things about Blaine Gabbert!!! Yea, Gabbert had a great combine. Who cares? Mike Mayock specifically... Has Wentz as his #1 QB. Also had Gabbert as his #1 QB - over Cam! Smh... Also had Gordon over Gurley last year, which was laughable... And I liked Gordon a lot.

Anyways... Everyone is acting like Wentz is a sure thing. No one knew who he was last year. And the jump from division 2 to the NFL is so massive that he is an automatic bust unless he sits a couple years, which won't happen. He will throw so many picks because the speed will overwhelm him.

Goff is so much better. Rams seem to at least be smart enough to realize that. Though I wouldn't have given up THAT much for Goff. And I still hope they change their minds and take Wentz.

Poor Browns... They were probably gonna take Goff. Watch... They'll settle for Wentz who will bust and Goff will be good.

Joe Flacco was an FCS QB who started in week one of his rookie year and turned out pretty well.

No one is a sure thing. Sometimes the QB is just a bonehead -- Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell. Sometimes the QB doesn't develop at the next level -- Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart. Sometimes you'll never know what the QB could've been if he hadn't been on such a crappy team that chewed him up and spit him out -- David Carr, Tim Couch.

Flacco isn't that good though... It I'm picking #1 I would never consider a Flacco type QB.

Flacco started day one and is by no means "a bust."

You can do a lot worse than Flacco in the NFL. I'm not very confident in either Wentz or Goff getting the accolades that Flacco has achieved. It's really hard to find a franchise quarterback these days.

There have been plenty of QBs from small schools with weak competition have success... But they almost always need time to develop... McNair, Favre, Romo, etc... But none of them started immediately.

That's ultimately why I expect Wentz to fail. Two completely different styles and sizes, but it would be like wanting Jimmy Garoppolo with the #1 pick... Just not worth the risk that high.

Yeah, as I've said I'd consider a Flacco-level QB the least the Rams need out of whomever they pick for this trade to be worth it.

Looks like these are the only four I-AA QB's ever taken in the 1st round. Actually 3 of the 4 led a team to a Super Bowl win, all 4 started a Super Bowl with McNair coming up just short. Solid record.
