Barring any trades, I think Bosa will be your guy! Maybe they trade back a few spots and go with Buckner?

Wow, talk about quickly removed!
PFT had a story about a possible failed substance test for Vernon Hargreaves. I guess the NFL made them take it down, as that info is supposed to be confidential.

I don't think the NFL had them take it down as PFT has reported numerous times about failed combine drug tests, my guess is their source backtracked or they got another source that contradicted the source that said Hargreaves failed the test. If PFT was confident about their story being correct they wouldn't have pulled it.

Edit: PFT has a story up that they were fooled by imposter Twitter accounts of Adam Schefter and Ian Rappaport that said Hargreaves failed the test. Everytime this happens I'm shocked that nobody thought to verify the accounts are authentic, which takes about 2 seconds to do. All PFT had to do was click on the profile on the Rappaport Twitter account and they would have seen there isn't a blue check mark and the account only has 310 followers, while the real Rappaport has a blue check mark and over a million followers.

I just saw the post on PFT. I figured since the original only last a very short time, the NFL or NBC had them remove it. Didn't think about the possibility of a bogus social media account.
I guess this is the social media driven world we live in, where news travels instantly.

They did the DC comics draft and now it's time for Game of Thrones.

Looking at the various expert mock drafts this seems to be roughly what the current consensus looks like. Though some of these, such as Ramsey/Bosa at #4/5 are fairly evenly divided on who goes where.

Seems Paxton Lynch is the most divisive. Mock drafts have him going anywhere between #7 and the tail end of the first round. My gut tells me he'll go earlier rather than later given how many teams seem to want to reach for a QB this year.

1. Los Angeles - Jared Goff, QB
2. Philadelphia - Carson Wentz, QB
3. San Diego - Laremy Tunsil, OT
4. Dallas - Jalen Ramsey, FS
5. Jacksonville - Joey Bosa, DE
6. Baltimore - DeForest Buckner, DE
7. San Francisco - Ronnie Stanley, OT
8. Cleveland - Myles Jack, OLB
9. Tampa Bay - Vernon Hargreaves III, CB
10. NY Giants - Ezekiel Elliott, RB
11. Chicago - Leonard Floyd, OLB
12. New Orleans - Sheldon Rankins, DT
13. Miami - Darron Lee, OLB
14. Oakland - Shaq Lawson, DE
15. Tennessee - Jack Conklin, OT

Hoping the rumors about Jack keep building and maybe he'll slip to 17.

The corner market has gotten more ridiculous than any other position IMO.

It's to the point where I simply would not sign a top tier FA CB. Period... Would only pay top dollar for corners developed within my organization. Too risky otherwise. I'd take a pretty similar approach with WRs too.

CB is now being approached as the 3rd most important position in football behind only QB and pass rusher. Maybe I'm old school, but I'd be fully focused on building the front 7. A dominant front 7 makes an average secondary look elite. And it's going to wear down your opponent's OL.

I think it's pretty telling that the Super Bowl favorite was willing to depart with an elite CB just like that.

They could've held onto him for one more season... He obviously did something to rub them the wrong way. And I have a feeling the Redskins didn't care at all.

That said, the Skins are a much better fit for Norman scheme wise than the Titans would've been. A lot of our fans are mad we didn't get him... He would've been a horrible fit for our team and Dick LeBeau's defense. Would've been a total waste of money here.

A shut-down corner is a luxury on a team that doesn't have a great front seven. Look at the two teams in the Super Bowl just this year, probably the best front sevens in the league. Norman's about to go to the Saints and kill their cap and look worse than he did in Carolina and get roasted for it. Oh well, I'd do the same thing if I were a 28 year old corner coming off a season like that.

A Jacksonville/San Diego trade could be an interesting trade. That would give Jacksonville Jalen Ramsey. Cowboys would probably go Bosa at that point, and San Diego would be able to land Tunsil still and get some picks from the Jags. It sounds good on paper.

Norman signed with the Redskins last night, and they completely overpaid for him. Top dollar CB deals need to be used on man corners. You put them on an island and leave them there almost all game long. You can't do that with a zone corner like Norman.

This. He was great in our system because we run a ton of cover 3. He doesn't follow #1's in the slot so putting him on an island with Beckham and Dez twice a year is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention he takes way too many chances and got burned for it a few times. I would've loved to keep him because he is probably the best cover 3 corner in the NFL today. But not at the price he was asking. We have KK and Star we need to lock up.
