The Jags had an extremely exciting draft, I wanted the cowboys to draft both Ramsey and Jack and the Jags ended up getting both. I'm chomping at the bit to see that defense in action at full strength. A team on the rise? Bortles and the two young wideouts are reason to believe so.

Ex-49er Dana Stubblefield charged with raping disabled woman, he denies allegations

Former San Francisco 49er Dana Stubblefield who has a troubled track record with women accusing him of violence, now faces the most serious allegation yet: On Monday, he was charged with raping a "developmentally delayed" woman who went to his Morgan Hill home to interview for a job as a nanny, according to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office.

Stubblefield, 45, is charged with five felony counts related to the alleged assault on April 9, 2015, and faces a "substantial prison sentence" if convicted, according to prosecutors.

"This was a crime of violence against a vulnerable victim," said deputy district attorney Tim McInerny in a statement. "She was looking for a job and she was unconscionably assaulted."

I guess he will get his day in court. His defense is saying the girl was trying to exploit him for money and that the sex was consensual. Even if he wins he still loses.

Now that the draft is over, everybody has a winner on paper. Which means it's 5th year option time!

12 Buckeyes overall were drafted. I know of at least 2 more that went undrafted and have already signed with teams.

I sure hope so, it hasn't been easy being a fan for a while. Last season showed a ton of promise, we just gotta pull it all together.

But while on the subject... Why did you guys give Chris Ivory a $30mil deal? Lol

We needed toughness to counter balance TJ Yeldon. Ivory is a good back but his violent style makes him wear down as the year goes on. Yeldon is a good back but he is not a pounding, up the middle runner, and got worn down and hurt last year. When Yeldon was out last year our running game completely disappeared. Ivory and Yeldon teaming up in the backfield makes a ton of sense. As for 30 mil, I am pretty sure only 10 is guaranteed.

Jags have the tools already on offense and hopefully the momentum continues going into this season. I really hope the new addition to the defense will make the difference. We lost a lot of our games because we couldn't stop teams on 3rd downs. It's usually the offense that struggles all season long, but last year it was a poor defense giving up a lot of big plays. Despite going 5-11 last year, it was really a fun season because of the points we were putting up.

I'm very excited for this upcoming season, and something to really cheer for. I'm looking at a 10-6 season and finally win that South for the first time ever.

Our time may finally be coming brother, rejoice!

Absolutely, our offense already picked up big time and hopefully our defense follows suit this year.

I have been telling everybody for years. If the Jaguars played the Rams, I'm sure the Jaguars would of beaten the Rams. Our offense could hang with Rams, and we have a better defense back then.

One word, Titans. The only team that year to beat the 1999-2000 Jaguars.

Very disappointing, just about every house was having some kind of Super Bowl party because everyone expected the Jaguars to make it.

My seething hatred for the Titans has never let up since this year. We lost three games that entire year, all three to the Titans. They just had our number for some reason.

Back then, networks like ESPN didn't talk or give the Jaguars credit even though we had the best record in the NFL. Everyone was talking about that vertical passing offense of the Rams. The Jags were known as the team that pulled the upset against the Bills and the Broncos in the playoffs, nothing else.

We were a pretty good football team from the time of our inaugural season all the way to 1999 because Coughlin spent the money signing key veterans but then salary cap issues crept up and led to his downfall and was fired. Our share of bad draft picks, and lack of talent hurt us for a good decade which resulted losing a lot of our fan base. If Tom Coughlin was still our couch during the bad times, I wonder if he would of led us to the promise land.

It's great to talk about the past, but I'm ready for the future of our franchise. I'm pumped!
