O-Line is crucial, yet they 'rarely' get the credit they deserve......

AP is great, don't get me wrong.... but imagine what he'd be doing if he had the O-Line they had when they drafted him

Can always count on Chris Berman to recognize the CFL where Anthony Calvillo of the Montreal Alouettes set the alltime pro football passing yards record at 72,429 yards

Marino and two of the other three in the top five congratulated him as well(Damon Allen, Warren Moon). No surprise Favre couldn't be reached for comment.

Weird since he had so much to say about Aaron Rodgers and the Packers just last week. No offense thought but it's Canadian Football. It's more or less players not talented enough to make an NFL roster. It's just barely "pro football."

Man im sick of these Bs calls on these defenders. O he lead I swear he did, Urlacher led with his shoulder and got flagged for helmet to helmet cause Scheffler lowered his head and changed directions. This is getting retarded I guess defenders are not supposed to defend or hit at all

It's not barely a league. Countless players with NFL experience have failed miserably in the CFL.

I declare that Jhavid Best is officially better then AP now because he has a longer career run then AP, AP longest run is 80 yards; AP is nothing until he can bust out an 88 yard run... AP is sadly just Mediocre based on this stat; he has done nothing else in his career, until he achieves this along with breaking 2000 yards...

So how often do players turn down an NFL offer to play in the CFL? Probably never. I'm just saying the CFL is more or less semi-pro. A few guys there do have NFL calibur talent but just got overlooked in college by pro scouts and earned an NFL spot. But those cases are rare. I'm not trying to rag on Canada here either. There are also crappy "pro leagues" in the U.S. like the UFL and AFL.

I saw a game live and I think it's closer to a garage league...A lot of players have a 2nd job in the off-season.

Let me at least educate you on why players don't choose the CFL the vast majority of the time. It's simple. The elite of the elite get payed about $500 000. A bubble NFL player can get payed more rotting on a practice roster than playing fulltime CFL football on average.

Players do love playing in the CFL mind you. It certainly does not play like a minor league.

Hmmm, another Megatron touchdown. Still time to keep up his 2TD/game pace

Well thanks for pointing out the obvious. The CFL is a football league located in a country where not a lot of people care about the sport. It's room for growth with a sport that is uniquely American and not Canadian makes it impossible for the league to accumulate much high-level talent. Hence the reason the league does not produce high-level football. If football had any promise at all in Canada we might have NFL teams there, but like I said it won't happen due to lack of fan support.

You better stop talking about it and stick with the NFL. What you just said was total nonsense.
