Conversely, they could play the game earlier in China around 11:00 AM and the game would start at 8:00 PM in California, but that's 11:00 PM on the east coast.

Here we go again. The NFL still trying in vain to get the rest of the world to care about a uniquely American game. They've tried in the UK for many years and nobody except a few ex-pats care about it. Nobody is going to care in China either.

NFL sells really well in the UK when the games are done in moderation.

Brady appeal denied, so now the only chance for the suspension being overturned is if the Supreme Court agrees to hear the case, which is unlikely. Looks like I'll be seeing Jimmy Garoppolo when I go the the Cards-Pats opener.

BEAUTIFUL. That being said, they'll still go at least 2-2 without him in.

I know it, most likely, will never happen but I'd love to see this go to the Supreme Court.
This whole issue isn't even about the "rules" any more, it's a last laugh match...which looks bad on the NFL as a whole.

Still think the suspension as much as I love seeing it happen to Brady is unwarranted. Aside from saying I like the feel of the footballs I highly doubt he said inflate to X PSI. As for replacing your cell phone I wouldn't turn my cell over to the NFL either its a personal phone and the corporation has no business seeing my personal texts or information.

So, with Bradys suspension being upheld, that means Janeane Garofolo will be starting?

He'll just appeal to the Supreme Court and hope they don't rule until after the season. Risky move for sure, but Brady is going to use every appeal he has available to him.

Supreme Court will likely refuse to hear it.

Wouldn't he be granted a stay until that would be determined though? That likely would take months.

I think so. Maybe just enough time to finish the season, win another title and then retire. Thusly giving the biggest finger imaginable to the league.

That would be hilarious. Goodell hands Brady the Super Bowl trophy and Super Bowl MVP awards next year, Brady says I'm outta this league, drops the mic and walks off leaving Goodell looking like a fool.

I don't think Brady has any plans to retire.

Or while not as glamorous, the Pats go 3-1 or 4-0 THEN get a really pissed off Brady back.

It may get him through the first month or so, but by October, his petition would quickly be rejected.

With the Supreme Court, he risks having it overturned after the season vs having it tossed out anytime between October and January. Just imagine if they rejected it the week before the playoffs.

Yeah, the Supreme Court often dismisses cases that aren't even close to being worth their time fairly quickly. There just isn't anything about a case revolving around deflated footballs and the power of the Commissioner that could possibly interest the highest court in the land.

TV peeps said they would frame it as a general labor issue that will also affect future issues.
