the JETS have already assessed what Geno is a joke just like Matt Stafford

Are you really comparing Geno Smith to Matt Stafford? That doesn't seem at all like a good comparison.

I got an unexpected surprise just now, I called Directv to pay in full for NFL ST instead of monthly and when I talked to the representative he told me that I have NFL ST for this season free because I upgraded my receiver a few months ago.

It is they are both inaccurate poor quarterbacks for where they went in the draft. Stafford was a product of Calvin Johnson and an Offense that had him pass upwards of 850x in a season. Lets see how Stafford is this year with no Calvin.

Stafford clearly has enough talent and has done enough to deserve to be a starter in the NFL for many, many years. Geno Smith clearly doesn't have that. Stafford has an elite arm and talent. Geno shouldn't even be a back up.

This holdout between the Chargers and Joey Bosa is incredibly dumb by both sides. The sides agree on the money and that the contract will be fully guaranteed, it's just whether some of the signing bonus money gets paid now or in March 2017 and whether there's offsets. If there's no offset language and Bosa gets cut before the end of his 4-year deal than Bosa would get his money from the Chargers and money from his new team. However, the odds of Bosa, the #3 pick, getting cut before his rookie deal is up is incredibly slim, and if he is bad enough to get cut then it will mean Bosa has been a terrible player and if he can find another team to sign him then it will likely be a minimum deal so the fight isn't over much money. The Chargers don't want to set a precedent by agreeing to offset language, and Bosa doesn't want to have offset language after the Jaguars didn't include offset language in #5 pick Jalen Ramsey's contract. A deal will get done soon but this is valuable time Bosa is missing over minuscule issues.

I disagree with the above. Dude's got a cannon, but I see making some of the same mistakes today that he made at UGA. To me he's a middle of the pack QB and without Megatron I think it's only going to be that much more obvious.

You agree with my statement then. He is a middle of the pack QB which means he deserves to be a starter. Geno Smith is terrible. They are not compareble at all. They are in a different class and have a different skill set.

Yes. Considering he has already started for 7 he is basically at that point. And he is only 28. He will go down as a QB who started for many years. He has has 2 season where threw for 5000 yards. Geno might never throw that many in his whole career.

Breakout year is supposed to be year 3/4. I dont see Stafford as a breakout QB. I have been watching the guy for all 7 years every game. I dont see him as a breakout QB as others have said middle of the road and without Calvin hes only going to get much worse.

Let's see what he has left in the tank. He was mainly signed for his return abilities, but Roman will find ways to get him and McCoy on the field at the same time.

Exactly. He just doesn't have the mental acuity to be able to play the game at a higher level than where he's currently at. A season sans CJ will be interesting to say the least.

Stafford isn't that good. He and Cutler might as well be the same person.

Would take a ton of younger, unproven guys over Stafford.

Not so sure about the second part, but I'd agree with the first part.

Yea I guess there aren't that many young unproven guys, but I was mainly thinking of Winston and Mariota.

I think everyone would take them over Stafford.
