Yeah they say likely out 6-10 weeks, if Prescott can keep us afloat with Romo out, we may have seen Romo's career end on a rather uninspiring note.

If Dak Prescott has them undefeated against all odds when Romo is ready to return, that's probably the end of Romo as a starting QB in the NFL.

Saints fan here. I'm fearing yet another 7-9 season for us. We've finished 7-9 for 3 of the last 4 seasons. This could be Drew Brees' final season with the Saints. We can't justify paying him more of the same money, unless we make a playoff run.

But, at least Colin Kaepernick isn't on my team's bench. I'm looking forward to Seattle sweeping San Francisco this season.

thompsonjohn had a thread about what you love and hate for last season. Since I'm new, and we're on a new season, I thought I might bring it back up.

Teams I dig:
Saints: favorite team. I love their history, their color scheme, their culture and their heart in the game. Although, I fear that a third straight 7-9 season is upon us. I don't foresee Drew Brees returning in 2017 and beyond, unless we make a playoff run.

Patriots: my #1a AFC team. I always liked and respected Bill Belichick. His success speaks for itself. I have also always liked and respected Tom Brady. I like the way the Patriots handle their business and organization. I also love how they stick it to the media. He's committed to the game. I foresee another AFC Championship appearance.

Colts: my #1b AFC team. They ran away from my home state in the 80s, after all. A healthy Andrew Luck puts them in the playoffs.

Seahawks: they're the team in my current home state, so I've got to root for them. I really like Russell Wilson. I've had him and Drew Brees on my fantasy team for three straight seasons. I like the Seahawks even more, now that Marshawn Lynch is gone.


Teams I hate:
Ravens: don't get me wrong, they play tough, old school football. Their rivalry with the Steelers is one of the best in football history. But, their players are low class, and their fan base is even more obnoxious. Plus, they tend to have a hatred of the Patriots; naturally, I don't care much for the Ravens. Although, I always look forward to their match ups with the Steelers. The Ravens and Steelers match ups are the only modern-day games that look and feel like like a vintage smash mouth football game.

Falcons & Panthers: naturally, considering they're both NFC South teams. I don't so much hate the Falcons as I just feel sorry for them. That said, Saints vs. Falcons have a good modern day rivalry. The Panthers, I just detest all-around. That said, I have their defense and Kelvin Benjamin in my fantasy line up.

Eagles: there isn't one thing I like about the Eagles. I hate the city, the fan base and the fact they gave Michael Vick a second chance.

L.A. Rams: I liked them in St. Louis. But, this is the team that crushed Bum Phillips' playoff hopes with the 1983 Saints. Plus, L.A. is a fairweather football market. The Rams will come crawling back to St. Louis in a few years.


People I Hate:
Roger Goodell: the worst commissioner in the history of the game. His tenure has been a complete disaster, and he is void of ethics. Bountygate was a deliberate sham to divert attention from CTE. Deflategate has no credible evidence to indict the Patriots. The game will be better off when he's gone.
