Teddy

Saw him play a game in Louisville a few years back. Love that guy... And he's who I wanted at #11 overall back in 2014. Happier with Mariota now, but always been a Teddy fan.

Was looking forward to getting to see him at our home opener... even as our opponent.

Statement from Vikings Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Eric Sugarman on Teddy Bridgewater:

Teddy Bridgewater suffered a non-contact injury today at practice. The injury was quickly identified as a dislocated knee. The injury was stabilized, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage. Fortunately, there appears to be no nerve or arterial damage. Surgical repair will be scheduled within the next few days. Although the recovery time will be significant, we expect Teddy to make a full recovery. I would like to thank all of the medical professionals and our athletic training staff for all of their help today. Teddy has already displayed the attitude needed to overcome this injury and attack his rehab.

Might be the season All Day breaks the rushing record since the Vikings will probably run more than everybody now, even the Cowboys with their 4th round rookie starting QB.

And he'll have 6 guys to block the other 10.

Anyone else feel this season of Hard Knocks isn't nearly as engaging as past seasons?

49ers still have to be the dumbest organization in football for getting rid of Harbaugh. They asked for this.
I did not catch the Fidel Castro shirt.
The defense's figured him out last year or before, plus he always been A headcase in game and in real life.

And now he is dating Muslim girlfriend Nessa Diab who help change his views on many things.I could go on,but just want to see the 49ers cut him before the season starts.
York could not handle Harbraugh,so he went instead of Baakke*who should be
fired this year.
And I agree the the 49ers went from almost the top to close to bottom feeders in 3 short years.
Also I believe they got lucky with harbs because he coached at near by Stanford.

I seriously hope not.

Seriously? So many GB fans have stated this on Facebook, and just shows why I hate GB so much. There's two other upcoming teams in the division. It's a new year.

They're not really wrong. It was expected that the Packers and Vikings were going to compete for the division this year. With the Vikings now being counted out that leaves the Packers. It's the same way everyone expects the Patriots to win the AFC East every year. I think it's more of a mistake to count the Vikings out than to count the Bears or Lions in. Vikings were never dependent on dominant QB play so I don't think losing Bridgewater makes them go from an 11 win team to a 4 win team.

Terrible news about Teddy! I drafted him to back up Rodgers. Quickly snagged Dak. Only really need him for week4, so I'm guessing he will have a disaster of a game, just for spite.

Zach Mettenberger cut by Chargers, claimed by Steelers. Is he the new Rick Mirer? Keeps losing as a starter but they like his physical skills as a quarterback and will keep giving him a chance?

Mettenberger got the best break of his life with the Steelers today. I don't hold the fact that he's winless against him. Name one QB not-named-Kurt-Warner that Whiz ever had success with. Mett wasn't the problem in Tennessee and San Diego. The guy quarterbacked the most entertaining offense in college football in his senior year. He had a kick ass Monday Night Football game against the Steelers, which he nearly won.

Also, I'd probably have more faith in the NFC North, if the Lions and Bears looked poised to do anything. Name the last significant thing the Bears have won with Jay Cutler. Jay Cutler is the Jeff Fisher of pro-football QB's.

Yea but didn't he also have Beckham and Landry as his wide receivers? That would make any QB look good.

Seems like TB's Roberto Aguayo is coming along.

Week 3 preseason against Cleveland, he was 3/3 on extra points and 3/3 for field goals.

Against Washington, he hit an extra point and 2 field goals, including a 50 yarder in "less than ideal conditions".
