The Pegulas's have showed a lot of patience with the Sabres, but a lot of it depends on how the team responds this season. Our start is certainly disturbing, but there are still 14 games to be played. Now if we would go 4-12, I can't envision a scenario where Rex would survive. But 7 wins probably saves his job. Probably.

Not that it's an excuse, but Bills are banged up defensively. The offense has a lot of great pieces.

Not having Shaq Lawson and Reggie Ragland definitely is less than ideal. Ragland was having a very impressive camp until he tore his ACL.

Fair enough, but no way Rex lasts the entire 5 years. It's readily apparent that he's already wearing out his welcome with the fans. Personally, I'd love to see him stay cuz it brings drama to the BUF game and he's always good for a quote or 10, but I just don't see him staying that long.

Agreed. Given how we played last night (giving up two HUGE plays for TDs), I'm not sure we win that game if BUF's defensive guys were playing.

Let's see how everything plays out this season. He isn't getting fired midseason. We still have a lot to play for.

No doubt! People just like the guy.
I read an article saying Fisher, as early as this season, can become the most losingest coach in NFL history. His Monday lost got him all alone in 3rd place...and I think if finishes with either 9 or 10 losses this season he will leap over Landry and Shula for most losses.

Now the question is: who has the better agent? Fisher or Bradford?
They both always win at the bargaining table!

And the air a little bit sweeter. I suspect the beer will be a little bit tastier as well, but then again, I might still be drunk from last night.

Sucks I'll be out and about during the 1:00 games this Sunday helping my parents and sister out. Want to enjoy my last year with NFL Sunday ticket without interruption, but I'll be home by 4:30 to catch the Jags and other late game at 4:30.

Ivory out as I expected, but I don't think they have disclosed his medical issue from last Sunday.

You can get mobile NFL Ticket, but not sure if you will be able to utilize that while you're out and about.
I'm kind of curious about Ivory as well. He posted a pic while at the hospital and he looked pretty good from what I could tell. Probably a reach, but I wonder if he contracted Zika? All it takes is one mosquito bite, and I had read that southern Florida was starting to report some cases. Not sure how far north that has spread? Again, total speculation on my part, but his visit to the hospital doesn't seem to be for any type of injury.
Whatever the case is, I sure wish him a speedy recovery.

Its primarily occurring in Dade. Some other cases in Hillsborough and Pinellas. Don't think its hit Jacksonville as hard as those counties. Plausible but unlikely.

Wife and I have been taking care not to be outside for too long. Wife is pregnant with our first child and of course Zika is now an issue

Didn't know that! I'll have to check it out. I will be driving to my parents to get pick up food, and then drive to the north side of town to my sisters house for her baby shower this Sunday. Sounds easy, but it's time consuming because it's family and there's always more than just one thing being done.

I'd be shock if it was Zika also, but he was rushed to the hospital Sunday morning so not sure if it really is, but anything is possible.

I hope he gets well soon because I can see him being a huge part of the offense. TJ Yeldon did a decent last week, but I also think he's not ready to be an every down back.

You are right. South Florida the disease is really an issue. Here in Duval county, we had a few confirmed cases of Zika. Even my wife had a student in her office that had Zika a month ago!

With all these past tropical cyclones we had the past couple weeks, and all that water around is a pure breeding ground mosquitos so I wouldn't be surprised if it might get bad in North FL soon.

Oh wow, congratulations! As if the whole child birthing process wasn't nerve wracking enough!
Now that I think of it, what would the NFL do is someone is found to have Zika? You would have to think it would be a nightmare, not just for that player, but the rest of the league. I haven't read a lot about the disease, but what little I've read stated it can be transferred via bodily fluids(sweat? blood?). Seems like if one player were to get infected, it would spread like wildfire.
Then again, I don't recall hearing any Zika headlines after the Rip Olympics.

Fitzpatrick the best QB the Jets have had since Favre and they wanted to pay him like the lowest non rookie starting QB.

Matt Forte is underrated. He is like a snake, he just strikes quickly and always extends his body for extra yards.

He may have been the best QB we're had in a long time, but that doesn't mean he's worth a ton on the open market. Lest you forget, even QB-hungry teams didn't remotely bite on him so the Jets were basically bidding against themselves. They eventually paid what they they wanted to/felt he was worth and all are now content.
