I can understand the referee thinking he may have stepped out but I have seen other similar instances where the whistle was not blown so quickly like last night. Once the whistle was blown, it could not be reviewed.

I do not like our HC and yeah he butchers a few game moments every game. He should have challenged the spot on the 3rd down and we may not have come down to that 4th down play. Then why punt the ball back to the Raiders with 4 minutes left in the game and down by 7 when it looks like our defense was not as effective as earlier in the game and not likely to stop them?

Among other interesting things: Derek Carr fist bumping a referee as they entered the field from the tunnel. A referee taking 2 different selfies with Raider fans. And Lasers, lasers, lasers.

Best part about it is he threw an INT when the lasers WEREN'T being shined in his eyes.

If you don't catch the culprit during the game (which they didn't) what can they do now after the fact?

Bottom line, from the terrible officiating, awful playcalling, lasers, the venue...it was one of the most bizarre games I have ever seen.

from a very biased Raiders fan of three decades......I thought the sideline call was awful until I saw one image of it from behind. It was the right call IMO and I think once again white shoes make it tougher for everyone. I do think the spotting of the ball in the 4th was BS tho and i'd be pissed if I was a Texans fan.

They paid back the Texans tho for some of that, because the bogus pass INT call on 3rd down put Houston on the 1yrd line. So 4 extra pts for that because that should've been a FG. I do think the refs should be reviewed for everything in general last night. Texan fans are also mad because the refs were fist bumping Derek Carr when he came out of the tunnel. It just looks bad.

It was a very bizarre game tho I agree. The playcalling on both ends made no sense right to the very end. Still, we're the most flagged (mostly our fault) and conspired against (maybe Al Davis' fault) team in NFL history. If there was a "fix" i'm glad we finally got one going our way

Not as bad as the one last week against the Texans.

I was there and saw it in person. One of the ugliest plays I've seen in football when he wanted to peg Yelton with the ball at 100mph because it was a busted screen play which ended up hitting his foot flying into a Texans defenders hand.

Excuse? Nice way to try to flip it on me. Do you know what Superbowl or bust means? Its usally when you go into the season as overwhelming favorites or have been at the doorstep for a couple of seasons but havnt won it yet and the window is closing. We went into the season with people panicing again because we lost our starting QB and we all know what has happened the last two times he went down. So no its not superbowl or bust. Also you better hope Wentz is not a bust because he was your number 2 pick. Dak was a 4th round pick so he wasnt supposed to do anything so no pressure on him lol. Wents better do big thangs or its bust!!!! Got Em!!

In today's parity driven league it is most definitely about cashing in on the draft/easy schedule to win a championship. Dallas has been geared up for a run and were a Dez whoopsie away from the NFC Championship game. It's safe to say had they not been so beat up last season they might have been in the thick of the race. So along comes this season with the draft home runs and a 4-12 schedule. Next year will be much more difficult as they will play a tougher schedule and Dak/Zeke will have a year of game film for opposing D-coordinators to dissect.

Social Experiment? That's a stretch. They aren't a band on a world tour. Keep the teams in the respective environments; there is no need for them to go to Mexico City, London, China, etc. The only acceptable one is Buffalo going to Toronto once a year given their close proximity.
