Eli Manning has been a turnover machine his entire career, except for his two Superbowl runs. Like, he was _always_ tremendously worse than Romo at it, for example.

I have absolutely no idea how he just stopped turning the ball over when it mattered, but I wouldn't put it past him to do so a 3rd time.

You only believe Brady destroys his cell phone because HE says so.

If you 100% believe Brady just happened to destroy his cell phone on that specific day, you might want to look into buying your own property, you are just as gullible as you think others are. Especially since he still had older cell phones around, so it's not like it was rigidly scheduled.

And it's not just that. The Patriots threw people under the bus, and Brady changed his story over time. There is no way someone who's not blatantly pro-Brady/Pats or anti-NFL doesn't find something a little fishy.

Whether it's worth punishing is a wholly different argument. I think the punishment was dumb.

Loved seeing Tony Romo play yesterday. He was on the field for like 1 minute and scored the only TD for the Cowboys.

of course it was a "regular practice."

convenient that he replaced his phone while he was being investigated though.

Maybe if the league office wasn't biased from the very beginning he would've been more cooperative. NFL was leaking out false information like there was no tomorrow.

Not this time around, if happens Pats will win. This season we beat all of our latest foes and on the road. Those 2 sb loses we had a very ordinary defense, specially 2011 we were on the bottom 5 In total defense I think. there is no more bend don't break. Eli would get smashed in his mouth bad. Giants D don't scare me at all. Bring it on!!

Colin makes a good case for Derek Carr.

Problem with giants is running game & offense isnt close to the 2 super bowl teams.

They weren't exactly lighting it up though coming into the playoffs for those championships either. Yes their offensive ranking was far worse than those years but I think it can be said that they should be much better given their current crop of receivers

Also, Seattle is one-and-done in the playoffs again. They're busy paying Michael Bennett, a guy that will complain about his contract again next year. But, they forgot to protect Russell.
They tore that offensive line apart trading their center for a TE. That was probably one of the worst trades in NFL history and will cost them for years. Good centers don't grow on trees, you'd think a coach like Pete Carroll would know better than that.

Well he did pass in the SB when he should just ran Lynch in.

The Butler told him to do it. Devil's advocate though, Lynch may be one of the best power backs in the NFL but for some reason he's never been a good goal-line back. Pretty sure on that play RW should've just tucked and scored himself though, Butler was on that receiver like white on rice.

It's funny but in the CFL grey cup last year the heavily favored Stampeders pretty much did the same thing. They had two chances to run it in with their beast of a running back for the win but instead went with a dumb passing play with a backup QB making them settle for a field goal to tie. They lost in overtime. This from one of the smartest former CFL QBs in league history. I guess handing the ball off simply isnt sexy enough to win a big game.

2007 they scored 38 & 35 pts in wks 17 & 16

2011 they scored 31 & 29 pts

2016 they scored 19 (really 13) & 19

So they were doing better goin into playoffs

Missed this yesterday, but Carson Wentz handed the TD game ball to Philly native, and MLB superstar, Mike Trout!
Damn I hope the Phillies can find a way to sign him. He'd probably give them a hometown discount!
