I remember when Pete Carroll stated Sanchez wasn't NFL-ready and should have stayed another year at USC.

Absolutely, he sure did. BUT then again, he came in as a rookie and took the NYJ to two consecutive AFCCGs so there's that. Yes, he relied on Rex's defense at the time, but still ran the offense and made the necessary throws beating Peyton and the Colts in the process, so...

McGloin is not expected to be available to play so Connor Cook it officially is! We just signed a QB off the street yesterday to back up Cook. I don't even remember who. We went from a fairy tale season to the being on a Cleveland Browns QB Carousel just in time for the Playoffs.

But we will still make history... Connor Cook becomes the first QB in the Super Bowl era to have his first ever start be a Playoff game.

The game plan for the game against HOU needs to be RUN, RUN, RUN. Obviously, they'll stack the box and force the kid to throw, but still.

What about that ridiculous attempt at a onside kick earlier in the season by Pittsburgh, where Chris Boswell did some sort of weird soccer pirouette, and missed the friggin ball!

We've been fortunate this year to be 2 deep at QB and 3 deep at RB.

Sorry Raiders, but you will not make it to the Super Bowl without Carr.

You just never know. Denver won last year on defense. Baltimore won with Dilfer at QB.

Time will tell.

49ers dysfunction just keeps giving. Chip said he wanted to draft Dak, but was overruled by Baalke. Now he says Baalke was undermining him.

That's fine. Maybe I'd like McCoy back if he took a massive pay cut, but understandably he wouldn't. But turning 29 next year, still shows questionable decision making at clubs and can't stay off social media. Not worth it despite being a very talented back.

reading that stuff never helps. I read this week that Lane Kiffin wanted to draft Calvin Johnson instead of Jamarcus Russell. Al overruled

He was tops in the league in completion percentage and 6th in rating while only throwing 5 picks. Not bad for a guy that basically had no OL and very few offensive weapons. Also played 15 games.

I agree, especially since he was a last minute back up plan. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikes go 10-6, or better, with Bradford and a healthy Peterson.

Peterson is probably done in Minnesota, I don't see them bringing him back with that huge contract at his age.

Asiata and McKinnon are actually a good 1-2 punch if you give them decent blocking. What they need are OL upgrades and to replace the 100 year old Newman.

I don't know off hand any teams that would pounce on him (with that salary)..
