I think Atlanta might pull it off but I hope GB wins. Nothing against the Falcons but I don't trust them against either of the AFC teams in the SB. A-Rod on the other hand tho...

I've been excited in the past, but this is honestly the most pumped I've been since the 98 team. I remember going with my aunt to Flowery Branch super late at night to welcome the team back after beating Minnesota.

Yeah, I remember that game well as I only moved here in the summer of '96 so everything was still all brand new.

I basically told him the same as what you're saying...this is the best chance they've had with the team in their final season at the GA Dome, Matt Ryan the presumed MVP of the league, a red hot, high flying offense and a team that's peaking at just the right time.

A-Rod is a bigger stumbling block for the Falcons than most seem to think he is.

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports the Browns have made "significant progress" in contract talks with impending free agent Jamie Collins, and are expected to finalize a deal by the weekend.
GM Sashi Brown is on record as hoping to keep Collins without the franchise tag. Collins' play was listless following his acquisition from the Patriots, but that's not surprising for a player going from the top of the league to the bottom. Still only 27, Collins is a versatile playmaker, and has been durable. He would be a nice building block for a team in the middle of a total reset.
