That's generally my thought process. Brady wins every Super Bowl not against the Giants. So far it's worked out 100% of the time.

My Matt Ryan Super Bowl jerseys were "sent" to FedEx for overnight delivery on Thursday.... and nothing. FedEx has no record of them thus far. NFL Shop customer service told me they made it to FedEx, refunded my shipping fee and told me to contact them if they haven't arrived by end of day tomorrow. I hope I get them by Thursday

It's considered an exceptionally unpopular and unconventional signing. Just shows how little the 49ers know about running their franchise. Then again pretty much everything they've done since the 80s shows that too.

49ers hired ex-NFL safety John Lynch as GM and signed him to a six-year contract.
The move comes entirely out of left field, as beat writers were convinced the 49ers would pick from Terry McDonough (Cardinals), George Paton (Vikings), and Mark Dominik (ESPN). Lynch has no background in personnel evaluation. He retired in November of 2008 following a 15-year playing career, and has spent the last eight and a half years as a color commentator for FOX. Lynch's work in the broadcast booth was terrific and confirmation he is a bright football mind, but it is extremely rare for NFL teams to hire analysts to run organizations. The 49ers will hope Lynch works out better than Matt Millen, whom the Lions hired out of a similar broadcasting role to be their GM in 2001.

Means he knows with a GM like Lynch he will pretty much be running the entire show in San Francisco, probably the way he wants it.

Uhh, what are his qualifications? As far as I know Lynch has never done any front office or management work before. Going from nothing to GM seems like a leap.

Please sell the team to someone who actually knows what they are doing.

Shanahan still hasn't signed a contract with the 49ers and could still back out. The 49ers had to have given him a heads up that they planned to hire Lynch and gotten his approval because it would be a disaster for them if Shanahan backed out and they had to restart their coaching search. They're already giving virtually unprecedented six-year deals to both Shanahan and Lynch so it's clear they were having trouble convincing quality candidates to take the job after firing coaches after one season two years in a row.
