As a Houston sports fan that knows heartbreak all too well, I feel for sycro and all Falcons fans. Still be proud of your team.

So do the Pats shop Gronkowski? He puts up very good numbers when he's there, but very often he isn't and those injuries keep piling up. They've shown they don't really need him in the postseason and could probably get good trade value for him.

Trade him to the Cowboys, we could possibly use him as a Witten replacement. We'll ship them Romo, one injury-prone superstar for another.

As for Brady anyone else think he may retire if he wins the Super Bowl next season? Despite his claims that he wants to play to like 45, which I think nobody actually believes, I could see him winning one more title and announcing his retirement so he can go out on top while still playing at the top of his game. I think he'll want to go out playing like Elway, not Peyton or Unitas.

It's either that or go to Florida which is nice, but it's just a little too close to Georgia.
The coolest trip I've ever taken was to the Grand Canyon as a kid. I did an 8 day rafting trip down the Colorado River.

I now live in Colorado as of a week ago... and I am so happy I finally got out of the south. We'll see how I do when football season rolls around and I'm not at Titans games though. lol I guarantee we'll go undefeated at home now that I'm gone.

Kind of tough to gauge. I guess as long as his health holds up he will go as long as he can. Also Belichick still coaching is factor he probably considers.
Should be interesting to see.

Lol, best scenario for Dallas. But odds are teams will let Dallas just release Romo then fight over the scraps.
It's just too much money for an aging QB with and extensive injury history and less extensive playoff history.
Then if that happens, Romo can control where he goes.
Dallas can work the sales pitch as much as they want, and who can blame them, but teams know Dallas is in a financial jam.

That was the exact moment I knew without a shred of doubt that the Pats were going to win in OT. I even had a pretty strong feeling that was going to happen when it was 28-12 and Matty Ice fumbled. Absolutely disgusting display of play calling there at the end though. There is a time and place to be conservative and predictable... and that was the time and place! Doesn't matter if Freeman gets stuffed twice in a row. You have an easy field goal set up. Make it and the game is over.
They did run the ball on 1st down and lost 1 yard, so they decided to pass. They did complete a pass to get into FG range, but it was called back for holding. Yes, their play-calling was a little suspect, but they almost pulled it off. Still, losing such a big lead late in the game is inexcusable and it usually means your team has some major issues. Ryan should've known better not to take a sack. They couldn't take advantage of Pat's failed onside kick. Getting down to the Pat's 22-yard line and couldn't even give your kicker a chance to kick the game-winning FG. Clock management issues: they snapped the ball too early in the play clock a few times, and they didn't run the ball often enough. Then maybe they simply lost their composure and didn't think with their best acumen during Pat's furious comeback and ended up making up some poor decisions.

The first sign of trouble was that string of defensive holding calls early in the game that kept letting Pats stay in the drive. Even though they stopped the Pats on that drive, those mistakes showed early signs that maybe they were not that disciplined, and/or their defensive schemes were not that sound.

Speaking in a Monday radio interview, Super Bowl LI MVP Tom Brady said he has zero plans to retire.
"If it was up to my wife she'd have me retire today, she told me that last night," Brady said. "I said too bad babe." Brady turns 40 in August, but remained one of the 2-3 best players in the entire league in 2016. There have been remarkably few signs of drop off. Brady doesn't have the arm strength he once did, but it scarcely matters in a relentless, short-area attack he commands like Ludwig van Beethoven.

I think they'll have to force him to retire. 20 years from now, announcers will be like "and here comes Old Man Brady, leading the Patriots onto the field..." Dude has no plans to retire.

A certain someone walked out of a Super Bowl watch party when it was 28-3, giving up on the Patriots then later Tweeted about it as though it nothing ever happened.

Just a bizarre streak.

Last MVP to win SB, Kurt Warner in 99.

So by posting something about him from Twitter (which you do all the time by posting stuff from Rotoworld) which was not remotely inflamatory, that constitutes hating on Romo? Jeez man, relax and maybe consider not being so butt hurt when anything is posted about DAL.

It's not really bizarre at all IMO. There are a lot of NFL teams and a ridiculous number of players in the game. Beyond that individual NFL players really don't carry teams to a title, unlike the NBA which is a superstar driven league.
