LOL all you want. I've been right here. And what's this "we" crap? Which position for the patsies do you play? Just because they won doesn't mean I like them any more or less. They'll go down in history as an asterisk dynasty. The sad thing is, being from Maine, I know my pats history no matter if I want to or not. John Hannah, Grogan, a murderer, super bowl XX, spygate, deflategate, tuck rule, brady whining, belichich coaching during losing seasons. It will come back around just like the 70's when the only thing people want to talk about is the "SAWX", Bruins History, or Celtics pennants. Anything patsy related will get you a dirty stare because they finished 4-12, or 6-10 again.

Nobody is trading for Romo, so it doesn't really matter what he's owed, except to Dallas.

Bet you're wrong. Someone will give up at least a first rounder and likely more for him.

TO will get in the HoF. The only question is when. My belief is unless you do something egregious they shouldn't consider off the field stuff at all.

I'd settle for a conditional 2nd rounder, with the condition being he starts at least 12 games.

Only the Browns would possibly trade for him, since nobody in their right mind signs there. Everybody else will take their chance on the open market.

Musashi is probably a pats fan from way back in 2000. On another note, does anyone notice how the pats get a soft schedule every year? I know they have 6 games in their division, but this past year they got the 49'ers, Rams & Browns. The NFL needs to step off with the deal of teams HAVE to play teams in certain divisions every year. I believe in the home & Always against divisional teams, but from there it should be based on how well the team fared the previous year. I'd like to see the pats play; Atlanta, Dallas, Seattle, Oakland, Indy, Denver, Pittsburgh, NY Giants, Arizona & Green Bay next year. They wouldn't be 14-2. But you watch, they'll get their divisional games, then Cleveland, L.A. Rams, L.A. Chargers, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Jacksonville & Tennessee.
Musashi, you should know your pats history, being from CT. and just enjoy the ride instead of being conceited about it. You know the pats were about a handshake away from moving from Boston because they were so bad that the taxpayers didn't want to fund a stadium? It took taxpayers from the entire region of, you guessed it, New England to get it done, and thats why the name was changed. It's a big circle. The pats will suck again. Try to be a good fan. New England doesn't have many.

It's somewhat cyclical. Next year, they play:

Falcons
Panthers
Chiefs
Texans
@ Broncos
@ Raiders
@ Steelers

Every team players their division twice, another in conference division (each every 3 years), an opposing conference division (each every 4 years) and then the teams that finished in the same position within their division from the other 2 in conference divisions.

So Atlanta ends up with Buffalo, Carolina, Dallas, Green Bay, Miami, Minnesota, New Orleans and Tampa Bay at home. Carolina, Chicago, Detroit, New England, New Orleans, New York Jets, Seattle and Tampa Bay on the road.

There was only 16 teams with winning records period. There's lots of teams that can be good one year and bad the next cardinals and panthers did that. Titans and lions both had better records than Broncos and Colts. Of the 10 teams you mentioned the pats played 5. Both Atlanta and the patriots played 7 teams with winning records. It's the way the cards are dealt.

Nope.

But New England does not bother me, and I firmly believe (going back before this most recent Super Bowl) that Brady was the greatest.

I read that with the way that Dallas structured the cap hits, it might be best for them if they just release him with a post June 1 designation.

Wouldn't help them sign free agents but they don't want to be major players in free agency anyway.

Cowboys are going to have to restructure the contracts of some high-priced players to push money into the future, which always ends up causing problems. The reason Romo's cap number is so high is because pretty much every year they restructured it and converted his base salary into a signing bonus. They'll have to do the same thing this year with Dez, Tyron Smith, and/or Travis Frederick so they can get under the cap and sign some lower-priced free agents and ideally they'll get Zack Martin signed to a contract extension as well.
