If he kneels it even once and we miss the FG, everybody calls him an idiot. The play calling may have been suspect, but you definitely don't kneel there.

And even with all the mistakes, if Matthews doesn't hold his man, we have like a 40yard FG attempt.

It's not really all that baffling. The Patriots and Brady won because they're winners, sad to say. The Falcons lost because late in the game they realized they're the Falcons and predictably choked.

He's still an idiot lol. Fine run the ball. Whatever. Kneeling it ensures the clock continues and makes sure that the Pats use their TOs. But dialing up 3 runs in that situation is just as good. And Bryant has been money all year. He would have made that one. And how many times did the Falcons run it being up 3+ TDs. Just dumb play calling.

The falcons have never been a 60 minute team. They lost all their games in the 4th quarter this year. I figured after the 2012 NFC championship game they would have fixed it but nope.
