What is your point? You act like none of us in here realize what his history has been. We are talking about him because almost all of the NFL quacks are consumed as to where he will land next.

I think he's gonna find a cold market. I'm not sure a legit team gives him a shot. Maybe a borderline team but no one who was a playoff team this year or last year.

You may be right about that. But if it is a "boderline" team that does give a go then he might be all that needs to be a contender this year, then again maybe not. But it doesn't really matter who were playoff bound last year or the year before because it will all get flipped upside down again this year.

Anyone think dolphins might cut Ryan Tannehill. I mean he's not the best plus coming off injury and his cap is 20 million?

Maybe they're also in the Romo sweepstakes.

Romo could end up being quite a find for somebody for a few years, still hope we get decent compensation for him.

No way the Dolphins will even consider cutting Tannehill. He showed a lot of improvement in Gase's first season and the Dolphins won 7 of Tannehill's last 8 starts before his injury. The Dolphins have plenty of cap space so devoting $20 million to their QB doesn't hurt them at all. It's not like there's better options out there.

The only teams talking about giving him a shot are legit playoff teams so I am not sure why you are thinking cold market. The main 4 rumored spots are Houston, KC (who all made the playoffs) and Denver and Washington who are good enough to make the playoffs with Romo. The guy can play, and play better than 2 thirds of the QBs in the league He will have plenty of market.

That is a ridiculous statement. A young potential franchise QB who lead his team to the playoffs? Why would they cut him? That is just dumb. 20 million plus is the going rate for QBs now. That is no longer a big number. Fitzpatrick was in the 16 million dollar range. The dolphins have been looking for a Franchise guy since Marino retired. They might finally have one.

I've seen multiple reporters speculate that Jay Cutler may retire if the Bears try to trade him somewhere he doesn't want to go or if he's released and can't find a destination he likes. At the very least the threat of retirement gives Cutler leverage to force the Bears to only try and trade him to places he'd approve.

He had 19-12 TD is good enough for 20 million cap but tyrod is a gone after going 17-6. Mike Glennon went 19-9 as a starter in 2013. Tan ain't nothing special so 20 million is a lot if your not getting a legit starter. They wouldn't pay fitz that. I mean they were a playoff team but no one thought they were gonna do much. Was tans first winning season as a starting qb so yeah I guess 20 million it is.

And haha they made the playoffs by beating Browns, bills, jets, Rams and 49niners. So only ONE team with a winning record the steelers when BEN was hurt in the game. Let's see if that 20 million QB can do that again.

I wouldn't say Tyrod is gone just yet. I think there is certainly a moderate chance he will be back with us next season. McDermott runs a tight ship, it's crickets right now at One Bills Drive. So everyone is trying to speculate what will happen with Tyrod. Quite a different story from Rex's regime. It really felt like we were as leaky as a WWII battleship with his crew.

There is also the eyeball test. Tannehill has gotten better and had a solid first season under Adam Gase. He has all the makings of a franchise QB. People need to realize that Franchise QB applies to more than just Brady, Rodgers, and Brees. If you are a solid reliable or better option for your team and give them a chance to make the playoffs then that is a Franchise QB. The starting price for those guys is 20 million. Andrew Luck is in the mid 30s now right? You are better off with Tannehill then half the QBs in the league.

None for me. Don't think I've actually sat and watched a down of pre-season football in about 5 years, aside from "highlights." The pre-season matters to be about as much as the Pro-Bowl. Meaningless filler.
