Redskins president Bruce Allen said GM Scot McCloughan is absent from the combine because he is "dealing with family matters."
It is the same reason McCloughan has given for his absence. It is certainly possible everyone is telling the truth, but it is highly irregular for a general manager to miss the combine, and there has been too much smoke about McCloughan's declining role in the organization for there to be zero fire. Along with Allen, coach Jay Gruden, scouts Alex Santos and Scott Campbell, and personnel executive Doug Williams have reportedly taken on much bigger roles in the front office.

Good news folks! Evidently there has been enough positive change on the social injustice front that Kaep no longer feels the need to kneel during the anthem.

There is nothing wrong with trying to make the world better but kap is a flawed man who isn't so much a leader as he is a follower. Someone is telling him he has to do this and that but if you really believe in something you have to commit 100% and that's not him. He's already abandoned that belief, its just sad people believed in him and now he's reversed course for money.

The Bucs seriously offered him $8mil to be their backup? Lol That's truly pathetic if true. He did them a favor turning that down.
