The Eagles loaded up on QBs for the sole purpose of hedging their bets, and so far it's working out nicely.

Uhhh... I was the most vocal about how stupid Chip Kelly was as soon as he took over GM duties. You constantly defended him and said I didn't know what I was talking about. Obviously I ended up being exactly right and you were dead wrong. Lol

Also ask yourself if the most successful organizations in the league would've given Bradford that deal. Would the Pats have done it (even without Brady)? Nope

Pats have Brady, so it's a non issue.
Chip made some very good moves while here. Bradford turned out to be one of them. He had a decent year, gave us a shot at the postseason and then we got a nice deal for him. I will take that all day long. So would about 10-15 other teams that don't have an elite QB.
Chip like every other GM had some bad moves to go with the good moves. Everything in the NFL: draft and free agency has a lot to do with luck. Homework and due diligence only go so far, then luck comes into play.
I will be thanking Chip Kelly for: Lane Johnson, Darren Sproles, Malcom Jenkins, Zach Ertz, Jordan Hicks, Sam Bradford(especially depending on what happens with the 2 picks we got for him), Allen Barbre and Taylor Hart.

But signing Bradford would not be conducive to the Patriot way, with or without Brady. That's the point.

Well, I guess it's admirable you're able to be that positive about a short fat mat who absolutely dismantled your team. You may be the only person on the planet, Eagles fans included, who believes Chip wasn't a complete disaster as GM.

And just a heads up... the majority of true NFL fans would say the Titans are currently in much better shape than the Eagles. Hard to argue otherwise.

Well, let's just compare rookie QB campaigns, shall we?
I believe MM was 3-13 in what is annually one of the worst divisions in football.
Wentz, with a rookie HC, very few offensive weapons went 7-9 in arguably one of the best divisions in football.

But I digress, we shall see how both stories unfold.

I can't believe you're actually reaching to blame the 3-13 season on Mariota. And to be exact, he was 3-9.

Peyton Manning went 3-13 as a rookie, so what point are you trying to make? You're aware this is a team sport, correct? The Titans had the worst OL and the worst coach in the history of the NFL. That's why we went 3-13. Had nothing to do with Mariota.

I like how you, wisely, kept Paas attempts out of the stats, since Mariota does not throw a lot of passes. Meanwhile Wentz set the rookie record for pass attempts. Also had a better completion percentage. Ya know since we are talking stats.
No way to say which one is better or will have the more successful career. Should be very interesting.

Marcus Marriota is a better QB right now than Carson Wentz. He was flirting with the MVP conversation a bit this year. Carson Wentz was never in that discussion and never will be unless he can elevate his game substantially.

Lol, of course he was. Especially after he smoked Pittsburgh. Then it resurfaced a little when Philly beat Atlanta. Ya know the team that had the MVP on it.
I don't buy either of them as MVP, right now, or even close to it though. Again, need to see more out of both.
