Except when the NFL decides they want to make an example of someone for no reason, like last year when the league stripped the Chiefs of a third round pick in 2016 and a sixth round pick in 2017 for negotiating too early in 2015 with Jeremy Maclin. Virtually every team breaks that rule, like when reports of the Dolphins and Ndamakung Suh's agreement were public before the Dolphins were allowed to even discuss contract terms with Suh, but for whatever reason the league decided to throw the book at the Chiefs.

Just saw that Terrelle Pryor is going to be a free agent. I know CLE can still sign him, but now you've given him the opportunity to be pursued by other teams.

I would bet he wanted to see. I know he loves Cleveland cause they gave him a chance but remember he was out of football a year. He knows he needs money and if a team goes stupid and offers 13 plus a year how could he turn that down.

Exactly, in his first full season for a WR he had over 1,000 yards. That doesn't just happen. Cleveland should have locked him up a long time ago.

Questions for a game that would likely be how each team handles: players aging, draft, free agency, and off-season training. Gronk returning is a potential X-Factor as well.

If the schedule allows, this should be a tradition every year since the NFL basically eradicated a ton of other traditions we've all grown to know and love over the years.
