2025-2026 NFL Season Thread

I'm loving the Ravens schedule. We finish up both of the PIT games by week 9. Don't like that it comes with a week 5 bye but I'll deal. If they don't get at least 10 wins I'll be very surprised.

We’ve got what appears to be a fairly easy schedule for a Super Bowl Champion team.

I mean, no Jets, no Patriots, no Steelers.

Chalk that up as a loss. I'm super excited. My friends and I are probably going to head to KC for the game.

i watched 1 chiefs game all year and that was against the ravens in the playoffs and i couldn't for the life of me figure out how they made the playoffs!!!

Mediocre!? 27 TDs - 7 INTs is mediocre!? With really only one good WR!?

Seriously, I love the Packers-Chiefs games, regardless who wins. It should be fun, especially in Arrowhead.

And as for how they made the playoffs, it was a combination of a pretty easy schedule, outstanding play from the rookies and QB, and a bit of luck. They fell apart in the game against the Ravens. It was close at half, but who knows what happened. I was just glad they played as well as they did last season, given that they only won a combined 8 games the previous three seasons before that.

I think he had 70 yards in the 1st half when I watched that game.

And yes….only 1 good recv’r which I had on my fantasy team!!!

He got me 30 points on a regular basis!!!

If they get a 2nd good recv’r in there, the chiefs would be able to make a run almost every year w/that ground game u guys have.

They might have only had 70 yards, but the score would have suggested otherwise, given how close it was.

Very nice. Bowe can be really good when he wants to be.

I'm glad there's such depth at WR this year for the draft. We have plenty of needs (NT and C come to mind) along with the receiving position. Hopefully we can get one solid receiver (Hankerson, Cobb or Baldwin). That would make me happy (especially if it's Hankerson).

Oh, no doubt. It was 10 - 7 at half, thanks to a 41 yard TD from Charles.

i was just thinking it was 10-7....and then the chiefs couldn't do anything in the 2nd half. neither team could do much that 1st half.

i was so pissed b/c i tried to get charles in my draft as well but ended up getting bowe instead.

At least you managed to pick up one of the two most productive players last season for the Chiefs. As you said, Bowe consistently helped. Charles would have definitely given you points, that's for sure.

Like I said, any one of our division games can go bad really fast, they like to prove they can be in the lead and p!ss it away when it really matters!!!

The Bucs volunteered to play in London, they weren't assigned. They are trying to build a fan base over there since their owner also owns Manchester United. So far the NFL hasn't forced a team to lose a home game to London, because each year a team has volunteered to give up a home game to go to London.

Bingo. The Glazer's are among the worst team owners in pro sports. They have never cared about a winning product. Last I heard they were doing badly financially and may need to sell one or both teams they own. All Bucs and Man U. fans hate them.

The Sports Business Journal reports a "breakaway" group of "mid-tier" NFL players is set to sign a lawfirm to intervene in the Brady vs. NFL case.
The players, believed to be as many 70, are not happy that talks under federal mediator George Cohen broke off in March. Their motion, expected to be filed late this week, is essentially an attempt to have their voices heard alongside the owners and higher-paid players at the mediation table. This is the first tangible sign of discord among the players. Even if Judge Susan Nelson is expected to grant an injunction, this report is more fodder for the belief that NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith's extreme positions have "painted him into a corner," as PFT's Mike Florio suggested.

Brandon Marshall's wife has been arrested and charged with one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
It appears the early speculation that Marshall's wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was behind the stabbing that landed him in the hospital is true. A little more than two years ago, Marshall was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in Atlanta after allegedly getting into a fight with Nogami-Marshall, then his fiancee, but the charges were dropped the next day. Details of the two's latest incident, such as what prompted the stabbing, remain unknown.

Someone needs to tell Mrs. Marshall that kitchen knife stabbings are for Thanksgiving weekend, not Easter weekend. She totally mixed up the holidays.

Either way this isn't the first time this fool suffered a stupid injury. He slipped on a McDonald's cheeseburger wrapper while wrestling a family member in his living room and injured himself by falling into a television awhile back. He's been involved in many other incidents of gross stupidity as well over the years. He's assulted women before too, so his wife's claim of self defense may turn out to be true.

Brandon Marshall should at least be charged with lying to investigators here since he flatout lied about this injury to begin with. He said he fell into a broken vase before finally admitting his wife did it.
