I think the Saints are overvaluing Cooks. They are turning down some pretty good offers, and seemingly want a kings ransom for this guy.
This could easily backfire on them, as once Cooks said he wanted a trade other Saints players do what people do these days: took to social media to fire a few shots off.

I agree that not having a franchise QB makes it near impossible, but certainly not 100% impossible.

Because that was a completely different era. Might as well use the 85 Bears as an example if you're gonna go to 2000.

10 TDs for a RB in today's NFL is an amazing year. Yet back in the early 2000s you had multiple RBs going for 25+ TDs. And back then 4000 passing yards and 30 TDs was seen as godly. Now it's routine for even average QBs.

On the face I like the moves the Jags have made. Problem is Caldwell's free agent moves usually end up being awful for Jacksonville.

That's not true that I never agree with you. It is rare. I'd look at it the other way... you rarely agree with me. Even when I'm being 100% logical. Lay the facts out and it doesn't matter.

We have a standing offer for Brandin Cooks. I have a feeling we will lose out to the Pats. Or Eagles.

Saints screwed themselves completely. They almost have to trade him now with the mess they've caused. Can't be too picky. If our offer is halfway decent they should take it.

Redskins loading up on defense. Maybe they aren't as dysfunctional as we were led to believe.

They might land Pryor to help replace the loss of Garçon & Jackson.

Pryor isn't gonna fill the gap left by either of those two. Plus the skins are apparently playing with a QB who has no interest in being there. I like Kirk, I hope he balls out and then leaves for more money in SF.

I agree. They do have Doctson, a first rounder, that really hasn't had a chance to play due to injury.

Doctson is a wild card, I think he'll be OK but hardly a playmaker (met him briefly at training camp last year, he's a good guy).
