Cowboys trying to get teams to trade for Romo, but everyone knows they're moving on from Romo so they're calling the bluff.

He will either get traded for a late rounder or released.

Worst kept secret in the NFL.

No no, didn't you hear, he's gonna fetch a first rounder?!

It's not just teams calling the Cowboys bluff, it's that teams aren't willing to take on his contract. The Texans or Broncos aren't going to pay Romo $14 million in base salary this year. He's going to get a deal that's worth around $7 million in base salary and has another $7 million available in active roster bonuses, stat incentives, and team success bonuses.

I, BizCat The First, Chief Football Strategist, agree with this statement. If I were wanting Tony Romo's services, I would not pay his current contract.

I scoffed and laughed when Cowboys fans thought they would actually receive something for Romo. They said I was a fool and wrong. Let's see who is right in the end

My only concern is that Daniel was helping to bring Wentz along; if he leaves, I hope there's no dropoff for Wentz. I assume Foles as a backup will take on some sort of mentoring role. Not that Wentz necessarily NEEDS to have his hand held, but talent is only part of the equation when it comes to being a starting NFL QB.

I just want A QB not named Cutler or Coepernick.

I think it'd be wise to bring back the Fitz, but at a cheaper price. And after his performance last year, I don't see how he has any room of leverage to argue that.

Jets QBs are so bad that Cutler is actually an upgrade.

Got that right.

But then again, the NYJ have been linked to every FA QB in the league, so we'll see.

Watching another NFL game from last season.

Demarcus Ware retired. Kinda surprised thought he would go one more year.

If no NFL teams are going to hire me, then at least bring me in as a consultant.

Anyone?
