I'm a little sad that Blount is going to be done in New England if the Bills don't match the Gillislee offer sheet, but the Patriots made it clear to Blount that they had made their best offer and it wasn't changing and they were ready to move on if he didn't sign. The Patriots could use a younger power back so it's going to be interesting to see if the Bills let Gillislee leave a year after letting Chris Hogan go to NE as a restricted free agent and become a key contributor.

The Patriots already have Dion Lewis, James White, Rex Burkhead, and Brandon Bolden under contract, so Gillislee would be their 5th running back. There's no way they're going to carry 6 backs and all 5 of those guys are going to make the team (Bolden is a good special teams player) so Blount is gone if the Bills don't match.

Deion Lewis is the only one. And he's contract and kick returner skills make that a no. James white might get traded I guess his value is pretty high after the bowl.

The more I think about it, I hope we pass on matching Gillislee's deal. He did some nice things for us, but that's a little high for a backup RB when we get a 5th round pick out of a decline. We have a good OL, trust them to open holes. We can find someone for much cheaper who should have similar production. Wouldn't be surprised if we give Blount a call.

I think he has the skill to be a starting RB. 5.7 yards per carry sounds good to me.

No not at all he averaged 3.9 yards a carry average at best. You have 3 1,000 yard rushers on the roster it really would just be like pissing money away.

Malcolm Butler signed his RFA tender with NE and SEA won't match SF's offer to Garry Gilliam so he's headed to SF.

Gillislee is a restricted free agent so once he signs the offer sheet the Bills can match the offer and keep him if they want. They have 5 days to make a decision, but early indications are the Bills won't match the offer.
