Such weird timing. He was so emotional and happy when he was acquitted of the double murder last week and he had a lawyer that was trying to do whatever he could to get the verdict of the first case overturned, however unlikely that may have been.

Aaron Hernandez killed himself last night

Milford, Mass. — Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, who was serving a life sentence for a murder conviction and just days ago was acquitted of a double murder, died after hanging himself in his prison cell early Wednesday, Massachusetts prisons officials said.

Hernandez, 27, was found by guards in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley just after 3 a.m., Department of Correction spokesman Christopher Fallon said in a statement.

The former New England Patriots tight end was pronounced dead at UMass Memorial-HealthAlliance Hospital in Leominster about an hour later.

No pity for him at all. Among all the victims left in this idiots wake, the one I feel sorry for the most is the little girl that will have to grow up with Dad's complete lack of sound decision making to possibly forever haunt her.

No. According to reports from prisons staffers, he displayed no reason for being watched, and if he had, he most likely would've been transferred to a mental health unit, for closer observation.
