If anything 1st round picks used to be a pain in the ass since the league didn't have a rookie pay structure until this year. A lot of teams even tried to avoid taking high-dollar skill position players early because it meant committing crazy amounts of money to unproven players. Like you know... JaMarcus Russell.

Every time I look at the score the Saints are back in the red zone.

Even though we beat them in the first week of the season, I'm still terrified of having to play the Saints in the playoffs. In fact, I'm not sure having home-field in the playoffs is a good thing. Our style of play and GB's January weather aren't exactly two things that fit well together.

The Colts are getting pounded harder then a vagina at a 50 man gang bang party.

Saints got worked in the play-offs last year by a mediocre team, I think you would take them in a rematch but it would probably be close. Same with us, we actually match up with them now better than we did when we crushed them in 2009 in their house when they were 9-0.

55-7, if the scoring record weren't so high and the Saints weren't content to just run run run I'd say the Saints would have a crack at the single game record.

Might be true. But Seattle is a tough place to play a big game at.

62-7 after the ridiculous pick six, the NFL really needs a mercy rule for scenarios like this.

Well after a pick six, it just might happen. Caldwell should lose his job. This is ridiculous.

Kinda funny how New England went 11-5 without Tom Brady but Indy goes 0-7 without Peyton.

I'll be suprised if he gets fired this season...not sure why...but i've never seen a thrashing like this in years or perhaps ever...Colts just quit...

Well clearly Cassell>>>>>>>>>>>>>Painter, which helped to soften the blow. Clearly Caldwell is not a good coach. 62-7 is beyond pitiful.

Chris Russell of ESPN 980 Washington reports that Santana Moss' fractured left hand is likely to sideline him 3-4 weeks.
Jabar Gaffney and Fred Davis will have to step up. Moss' injury comes at an extremely inopportune time for the Redskins after their recent quarterback change. Anthony Armstrong, who's been used as a situational deep threat this season, is probably the favorite to move into the starting lineup. It'd be in Washington's best interests to saddle up Ryan Torain and Roy Helu, leaning on a run-heavy game plan against the Bills in Week 8.

ESPN 980's Chris Russell reports that the Redskins "strongly believe" Tim Hightower has a torn left ACL.
He'll have a Monday morning MRI. Hightower suffered a non-contact injury in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, which is never a good sign. Redskins.com is speculating that Ryan Torain will take over as the Redskins' starter, with rookie Roy Helu as the change-of-pace and third-down back. Hightower is in a contract year, so he may have played his final snap as a Redskin. Through five appearances, he has 321 yards and one touchdown on 84 carries.

Oh I know. Shows how much the Colts are completely built around Peyton Manning. Take away Brady and the Pats still shut along as a respectable team. Take away Peyton from the Colts and they may be the worst team in football.
