If anything 1st round picks used to be a pain in the ass since the league didn't have a rookie pay structure until this year. A lot of teams even tried to avoid taking high-dollar skill position players early because it meant committing crazy amounts of money to unproven players. Like you know... JaMarcus Russell.

Every time I look at the score the Saints are back in the red zone.

Even though we beat them in the first week of the season, I'm still terrified of having to play the Saints in the playoffs. In fact, I'm not sure having home-field in the playoffs is a good thing. Our style of play and GB's January weather aren't exactly two things that fit well together.

Saints got worked in the play-offs last year by a mediocre team, I think you would take them in a rematch but it would probably be close. Same with us, we actually match up with them now better than we did when we crushed them in 2009 in their house when they were 9-0.

55-7, if the scoring record weren't so high and the Saints weren't content to just run run run I'd say the Saints would have a crack at the single game record.

ESPN 980's Chris Russell reports that the Redskins "strongly believe" Tim Hightower has a torn left ACL.
He'll have a Monday morning MRI. Hightower suffered a non-contact injury in Sunday's loss to the Panthers, which is never a good sign. Redskins.com is speculating that Ryan Torain will take over as the Redskins' starter, with rookie Roy Helu as the change-of-pace and third-down back. Hightower is in a contract year, so he may have played his final snap as a Redskin. Through five appearances, he has 321 yards and one touchdown on 84 carries.

Oh I know. Shows how much the Colts are completely built around Peyton Manning. Take away Brady and the Pats still shut along as a respectable team. Take away Peyton from the Colts and they may be the worst team in football.
