It's been a long time coming, but I bet they lose Monday Night Football next year.

I am all in favor of NFL Network taking over as long as they become a part of basic cable packages.

Contract-year QB Sam Bradford has yet to have extension talks with the Vikings.
Bradford is due $17 million between salary and bonuses in what will be his age-30 season. Bradford stayed healthy last year, setting some fraudulent records in the process, but didn't elevate his offense. He's not the long-term answer in Minnesota anymore than he was in Philadelphia or St. Louis.

At this point even if he were somehow 100% cleared on the rape allegations by the draft he might not be drafted. Just the fact that he was getting involved in gangbangs with random people not long before the draft shows some real lack of judgment.

Conley's lawyer really needs to yank his social media accounts. The guy is still posting things. The only things his side should be saying right now are press releases/statements by his lawyer.

By why wait get in there clear your name. The charge is horrible now he's moving at snail pace to even attempt anything. If he was cleared he would be drafted now teams aren't even gonna talk with him till after this gets cleared up.

It just amazes me how much these guys either (A) don't have any good guidance in their ears leading up to the draft, or (B) do have said guidance and opt not to listen.
All the poor decision making is literally costing them hundreds of thousands, if not millions, in lost earnings depending on how far they drop.

Absolutely. I remember Laramy Tunsil's draft night all too well. I know that bong video leaked right on draft night but his people should have gotten him out of that draft even immediately and taken no questions. Instead they just let him sit there with every camera on him. Then for some inexplicable reason let him do a press conference that was such a trainwreck someone finally grabbed him and ushered him off stage. He had no idea what to say or do.

It's best Conley just keeps as low a profile as he can and says nothing publicly. That's what lawyers are paid to deal with.
